I wish Vinny was given a chance to play QB behind this O-Line.

Man, Dockery got beat badly. And wtf was Campbell doing. For someone that gets sacked so much, he should know better.

Plays like that among a few others makes me doubt Campbell more and more.

Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)

At least Campbell's flaw is holding it too long. I'll take that over letting go too early/often any day.

only after you cut everyone in the offensive line.

Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)

ok so thats on JC he is holding the ball and needs to make a decision much quicker. He does not have time to throw in his defense.
You realize we have virtually no O-Line right?
Yeah, i'm quite aware of that. But, we're going to have such a high draft pick that any o-line we take with that pick will be a huge reach, unless it's Okung. I'm a BPA kind of guy.

Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)

Russell Okong or Bruce Campbell in the first and Colt McCoy in the second!

GTripp0012 12-27-2009 09:41 PM

Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)

I feel like yelling at Campbell and telling him to play within the offense, but actually, that would be a horrible piece of advice.

My only hope is that someday, he can play somewhere where a receiver can run a route.

They're about as strong as the levey's in New Orleans before Katrina.

Our screen passes have got to have the worst success rate in the history of the NFL

Re: Boys v. Skins Gameday Thread (Round 2)

Campbell reminds me of Mark Brunell once he started to regress. By refusing to throw the ball down field.

Well that's the only thing you can throw when five of our offensive lineman can't block three of theirs.

If by refusing you mean unable to throw the ball down the hill while laying flat on his back, then yes.

At least Brunell could get back to his Nth step on his N-step drops. JC barely has time to come up from Rabach's rear end before he's getting smacked in the mouth.
