I'll have to take a few today when I get home...

The county plowed the side streets on Saturday evening, but still need to clean it up. The guy who does our street was able to do several passes not too long after the county, so once we cleared the cars and the snow in front of them we were able to get out.

I had 23" where it didn't drift, way more at some places. Calling for 6-12" more tomorrow into Wednesday.

One of my friend's just said they're calling for another 10-20 inches in the Metro area and in MD. Baltimore area (and those in the mts.) could get more.

I don't know about you guys but I am sick of this snow. I love not having class as much as the next college student, but it's putting a serious damper on the social life, not being able to go anywhere. Cabin fever is kicking in.

My parents finally got out of their house. They'd been stuck there since Friday evening with no power or heat. They're not exactly young so I was getting worried about them.

today i got bored and just started shoveling the street and eventually neighbors came out and we shoveld a s ton then we finaly got a plow, and wouldn't you know it the first ones out were the jackass w/o 4x4 and they all had snow on their roofs

i don't know if i can do another 10-20 inches, f this snow

I wouldnt let someone merge in front of me this morning because he had a good 10 inches of snow on his roof on the highway. There were also 2 major accidents on my route to work. And seconds ago I just got a email to avoid 95N and 64E from the Westend, another accident.

It was 21 degrees when i left this morning. There is a lot of black ice out there.

there were people stuck when i was walking taylor and lola and i just walked right past them since one was a minivan and the other was a jetta, they had no bussiness being out there, f-ing annandale

My buddy headed down there Sunday morning towing 5 bobcats down to help remove snow. He owned two and rented three and his wife was saying that the first day will pay all the bills then after that its all profit.

I can deal with the snow, it's the power outage that has so many people in the region concerned. Some people here in Montgomery County will be without power for the remainder of the week. Those that lose power again over the next two days as a result of a new storm front coming from the west will have to wait until those who were without have been restored first. It's the pits.......... I just hope we don't lose power again like we did from Friday night until Sunday morning.

Somebody told me the official count for where I live was 34 inches over the weekend. Expectin' between 5-10 more between Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm so damn sick of the snow it's ridiculous lol.

A guy I work with was telling me that a buddy of his owns a bobcat-type thing and that he's made close to $10K so far this season. Pretty sweet side job.

Actually, some of the forecasts are starting to drop their amounts a smidgen. Saying that there is not as much moisture as first thought. I hope that means we in baltimore will be closer to the 8 then the 16. Also, it looks like a good 7-10 days with clear skies after this. Thank goodness.

after shoveling my driveway and walkway i shoveled my street yesterday and today i shoveled me neighbors driveway which is about 45' long and on a giant hill, i am not looking forward to shoveling any more snow i hope they are all wrong and we get rain and it melts this crap away, i'm done

Can't see it raining up here in Baltimore, but I would love that versus more snow. I want this storm to somehow just disappear, I would not even gripe about the weathermen getting the forecast wrong.

As for shoveling, I have shoveled my driveway, a parking spot in B-more for the SB, my company's entry to the lot, and a ton of snow off of a flat roof that I am worried about (5000 sq ft and I haven't even reduced it by half...) Shoveling is SOOO yesterday!

Trample, I am with you on wanting Spring to get here. Can't come soon enough!

spring is pretty far away like you said atleast we will have some sun, but it doesn't look like it will get above 36 until wednesday of next week when it will be a whopping 40

the worst thing about this storm is we are supposed to see alot of wind on wednesday and thursday, i can deal with snow, i cannot however deal with no power
