Honestly, i'm tired of him not having a friend on this forum. I have always jumped on board with the haters because there is a plethora of ammo. But it's gotten to the point where he needs a friend in court, and Danny has become the underdog in regards to public sentiment. Rightfully so.

No they werent, they were on a scenic easement (owned by the Natl Parks Service) between his property and the C&O Canal. He received permission from the NPS to cut down the trees but it was later determined the NPS did not follow proper procedures to grant that permit and questions arose about whether DS's position, connections, and $ improperly influenced the process. In the end, DS had a permit from the NPS to cut down those trees but that permit was improperly issued.

I wouldn't argue that my reaction wasn't emotionally motivated. It certainly was. Furthermore, i'm ignorant as to the requirements to facilitate cause in a lawsuit. There is clearly no doubt to that effect.

I didn't like the article, i didn't like the picture, and i personally feel that Dan Snyder is as much a part of the Redskins, as all of us. What do i mean by that?

If you and i were at the same bar one night, and someone was relentlessly antogonizing you because of your 'skins hat. I would speak up for you. I feel compelled to speak up for OUR owner. He's not going anywhere, and it's our privelege to complain about him. But it's not our right to remove him. In the same way it's not my right to tell you not to be a fan.

As for this issue specifically, I couldnt care less.

In the big picture I think DS doesnt care whether people are for him & the skins, or against him & the skins, as long as there's passion either way because that means people still care. I think his biggest fear is that people stop giving a damn about him & his team because once they tune out knows it will be nearly impossible to tune them back in.

I with you, but my indifference isn't just on this matter, its becoming my overall attitude towards the Skins in general. I've grown weary of cheering for a mismanaged embarrassing circus of an organization year in and year out. My heart and soul is far less invested in the Skins than it was just 4-5 years ago.

I think at this point redskins fans have hit Rock bottom, I love my skins and have for 18 plus years now and I haven't seen a championship quality team in that span.. In fact we r a disgrace to the history of the Washington redskins, at one point fans around the league actually thought we would be a good team now if we win 6 games it's the norm.. Every season we get hyped up for nothing. I agree with GM and have lost a little bit of passion every season that goes by.. I think dan has cursed this franchise and Has created a true cluster **** organization

So let me get this straight. If I were to price gouge you, charge absorbent fees for you to park at home, and then try to make arrangements in surrounding areas so you couldn't by pass those fees, provided you with unethical business services (vendors), banned you from voicing your opinion (signs) while allowing paid sponsors to give out signs, charged you for a "fan appreciation day" and stiff you with any other gimmick I could all to squeeze a extra buck out of you while running your favorite team into the ground, you would STILL have my back all because I was a Redskins fan??....lol

Come up with some crap about how he was frustrated that the team was only 6-10 and he misplaced his anger. I can vote for politicians; Dan being the owner is something i will have to live with for the duration of my life. So i'm buying in now, because he WILL get it right. Dan Snyder is still ----ing with this organization by claiming he has been defamed with the caricature of his likeness.

Did he ever consider that his law suit would have a negative reaction on everything dealing with this team that has taken place thus far? This compares to signing the "has been talent" in his early years. Throwing money out the window to lazy athletes. Having Vinny around to kiss his rear-end by taking on the negative reactions that should have been aimed at Dan.

How can someone publicly say that he support Dan Snyder? Dan is selfish, and, not one of us. If the Supreme Court abolishes the namesake of this team, Dan will be blamed for it because he brings shit down on this organization because he does not think before filing bone-headed law suits or spending beyond a player's worth. He says he's disappointed with Albert Haynesworth, but he turns around and opens his mouth about being negatively characterize as an incompetent businessman.

Your negativity and love for the Washington Redskins has put the Redskin nation in another down-spiral. Please think before engaging your love for this team.

I hate to be political, but I find it funny that everyone complains about Snyder's antics, yet a good portion of this country and a political party continues to support legislation/loopholes that cut taxes on rich people like Snyder and helps them get even richer. And what I am trying to say is, what else do you expect from a rich and powerful person? I'm sure all rich and powerful people in this country are not like them, but probably a lot of them are.

That being said, while I do think Snyder has overreacted (but I'm not surprised that he did), I also think that the media in this area (and the country) tend to beat the dead horse over and over again in regards to Snyder and the Redskins. And maybe...maybe this article got a bit too personal. Yet I don't think Snyder can win this suit (although I am no legal expert).
