She clowned that guy...lol Romney better get on the phone and hire that woman ASAP.

I'll say this about the whole "Bain Captial" thing. Romney can't have it both ways, he can't claim to be in charge of Bain during the good years, and not in charge when they ship jobs overseas and other businesses go bankrupt. You can't have you cake and eat it to.

Fact of the matter is, if your name is on that SEC document saying you are in charge, you are in charge and are responsible whether you are making decisions or not. It's like she said, either you are lying to the American people or you are lying to the SEC.

He most definitely was in charge, at least on a limited role You don't have that much assets and that many titles and not have one eye on your company. It simply doesn't compute and you can't hide this kind of stuff for long and eventually phone records and meeting info will come out.

As Romney and his cohorts seem to be saying, if the leadership hat don't fit, you must quit Romney.
Read the links FD and I posted, all the answers are there. If this is all the Ds have.....saden needs to get his checkbook out.

Since FD & I have answered questions (quite effectively), how about someone answer a question for me:

- What exactly was Obama's role in approving the Solyndra loan when their financial model was $hit and they had a failed IPO? $ 535M in TAXPAYER money stolen from the American people by Obama and his cronies. While you guys are trying to tie Romney to Bain (private corporation) to say he outsourced some jobs, you're OK with Obama funneling hundreds of millions to crooks that steal taxpayer money and cost over 1000 jobs.

Yeah, saving the Olympics with all of the federal money Republicans hate so much.

Look, if you have to get into the weeds about when you left a company, you have a problem on your hands. The Obama team are going to hit this guy on Bain and taxes all the way to November, as they should.

What's funny is that Rommey is running from his record as governor of Mass and now his time at Bain Capital. What exactly is the guy running on?

Fine, if that's the stance you want to take, then you are agreeing that he lied to the SEC during those 3 years by signing documents and having him listed as the President/CEO.

Sammy is saying that Romney wasn't in charge of Bain from '99-'02 and even posted links. If what Sammy is said is true, then he lied to the SEC.

I knew you figure out how to put this on Bush. Your right and it was not part of the stimulas but it was done arround the same time period. The facts are his own people threw up red flags and he still proceed so he could tout this green company and the jobs he created. It really does not matter if it was the stimulas or another program he still wasted 560 million dollars. Hey guys, it's ok. Obama while being the President, wasn't really in charge these past 3-1/2 years. Yeah, he took a leave of absence and left Congress in charge, even though he's listed as our President and Commander in Chief. This absolves him of any wrong doing the past few years, and none of it should be held against him, unless of course it's positive, in which case, use it!!

From WaPo:
"In March 2010, Mitchell wrote Kaiser about Energy Secretary Steven Chu, describing his attempts to secure a second Energy Department loan. “Chu is apparently staying involved in Solyndra’s application and continues to talk up the company as a success story,” Mitchell wrote. "

"In an October 2010 e-mail exchange, Kaiser appeared to challenge a plan by his associates to press the White House for unspecified help. “The WH has offered to help in the past and we do have a contact within the WH that we are working with,” Mitchell wrote to Kaiser. Kaiser suggested that Chu might take offense at any attempt to go over his head.
“I question the assumption that the WH is the path to pursue when both of your issues are with the” Energy Department, Kaiser wrote to associates Oct. 6, 2010. He said presidential counselor Pete Rouse and Carol Browner, who then headed the White House energy office, might not choose to get involved in the issue.
“If they did, I am concerned that DOE/Chu would resent the intervention,” Kaiser wrote.
Mitchell replied, “The WH meeting is more about assistance in selling panels to the government than it is about getting the DOE loan revised.”
Kaiser responded that Mitchell should “pursue” his White House contacts “to follow up on the casual comment during the plant visit.” Obama had visited Solyndra’s Silicon Valley factory in May 2010 for a press event."

From the ABC link:
" In one pointed memo, shortly before the company declared bankruptcy, a top Treasury official wrote to the White House to make clear that the decision to restructure the deal did not have Treasury or Justice Department approval -- despite early suggestions that approval from both agencies may be required."

"An elite Obama fundraiser hired to help oversee the administration's energy loan program pushed and prodded career Department of Energy officials to move faster in approving a loan guarantee for Solyndra, even as his wife's law firm was representing the California solar company, according to internal emails made public late Friday.
"How hard is this? What is he waiting for?" wrote Steven J. Spinner, a high-tech consultant and energy investor who raised at least $500,000 for the candidate before being appointed to a key job helping oversee the energy loan guarantee program. "I have OVP [the Office of the Vice President] and WH [the White House] breathing down my neck on this."

and from the other WaPo link:
But as Hoover Institution scholar Peter Schweizer reported in his book, “[ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0547573146?ie=UTF8&tag=slatmaga-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=1789&creativeASIN=0547573146"]Throw Them All Out[/ame],” fully 71 percent of the Obama Energy Department’s grants and loans went to “individuals who were bundlers, members of Obama’s National Finance Committee, or large donors to the Democratic Party.” Collectively, these Obama cronies raised $457,834 for his campaign, and they were in turn approved for grants or loans of nearly $11.35 billion.

So the left throws complete speculation that has been debunked for years about Romney/Bain and that's supposed to equate/negate hard facts on Obama funneling tax money to bundlers....ummm OK.

Still got a chuckle out of that "Obama supporter" comment.
As FD mentioned a while back your posts are 10 - 1 supporting Obama/Dems/liberal issues and/or bashing conservatives/GOP vs. the other way around.

and no one on the left (or anyone who claims to be "down the middle" LOLOLOL) has any reasonable answers for any of my questions.

I post my stuff as they arise. I also don't post garbage like Fox News. I can certainly dig and find you 2 year old related stuff if you like, but I do like to keep current. Obama lost my vote long ago; however, I have to correct people on inaccuracies or their half-truths.

Also, the reason I'm supporting the dems/liberal/obama issues is that quite frankly, the Republicans have been the bigger idiots as of late. You only need to look at who they are parading out for Presidential election to see that.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)
What you chose not to quote:

But as Hoover Institution scholar Peter Schweizer reported in his book, “Throw Them All Out,” fully 71 percent of the Obama Energy Department’s grants and loans went to “individuals who were bundlers, members of Obama’s National Finance Committee, or large donors to the Democratic Party.” Collectively, these Obama cronies raised $457,834 for his campaign, and they were in turn approved for grants or loans of nearly $11.35 billion.

So the left throws complete speculation that has been debunked for years about Romney/Bain and that's supposed to equate/negate hard facts on Obama funneling tax money to bundlers....ummm OK.
Dude, all you're doing is quoting an email about an email about what so and so said. A big effin' so what.

Nothing, in anything you've cut and pasted, mentions him getting any special favoritism from a White House officials.

If the guy had so much juice and the money was flowing, why didn't he go straight to the top? Isn't that how it's supposed to work? Seems like he's jumping through a lot of hoops for the White House to be so eager to reward one of their campaign donors.

Apples and oranges comparing Bain to Solyndra. But we shall see. More shoes to drop on Bain and Romney knows it.
