Unless they changed the rule recently, those tinted visors cannot be used in the regular season unless they have a legitimate doctor's clearance for a vision condition.

LaDanian Tomlinson was allowed for that reason.

I think Portis tried and got fined for a tinted visor once. He tested every uniform rule. :D

I prefer the old one too. The new one is generic-looking.

The wordmark is not what needed to be changed, the logo was. I hate Flying Elvis. Pat Patriot needs to come back.

Also, red jerseys instead of the boring navy and silver would look much better.

The Dolphins' new uniforms are an atrocity. They've taken one of the classic, historic franchises in the NFL ('72 Dolphins!) and turned them into an embarrassment visually. Previously, the only thing embarrassing about the team was the lack of talent...they didn't look bad. Now, hideous. They look like an arena or college team that gets a new design every year. The logo is a massive downgrade that looks like an obese dolphin, or a killer whale. They've completely eliminated a main color of the team in orange. Unless you know about the microscopic orange trim and outlines, you're only seeing orange in the sun on the helmet.

I hate when a classic team gets modernized, but even if this were an expansion team, this look would still be ugly.

Between the Cowboys' mess of a color palette and the Dolphins last night, that game was a puke-worthy sight.

So according to Monkeydad the Redskins will be wearing their home uniforms for this first Preseason game. Question..... the White Jerseys are suppose to not have the "toliet bowl" ring around the collar this year, but I haven't seen this new jersey yet online in any "stores". Anyone know the story on that?

Ok, nevermind this question about the Away uniforms, I am seeing a Morris and Griffin White Jersey without the burgandy ring on the Redskins.com website now.

Just to be clear, I didn't make that uniform projection, just sharing it from another source.

They were wrong a couple of times last season but they're normally very reliable.

I liked the burgundy tops and white bottoms in the 80's. Now, I think I am pretty much sold on the gold pants. Even more retro for an old fart like me.
