Actually on JR's website if you use code word Warpath he will give you a pretty nice discount.
Lol thanks for the tip. |
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
If I was a Rice advisor or Ravens FO guy I would consider having Rice walking away from the game for at least year. If the Ravens cut him, no one will touch him until next year and it will be at league minimum. Plus it will buy him a bit of good will because it will look like he is taking some sort of responsibility

I dont care what he does he will always be a scumbag. I believe in second chances unless we are talking rape, murder, and yes...punching a woman (one who poses no threat of danger) in the face. |
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Ray rice demeanor after landing the punch is scary, no emotional almost a business-as-usual stance, waiting for the elevator to get to the right floor. Picks up her shoes and drags her out onto the floor, almost like this is routine.
I really can't believe the nfl when they say they didn't see the video, everybody knew there was additional footage, they didn't ask or seek it out? Something doesn't seem right |
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Ray rice is released per mort

Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Ravens on Rice: "We were totally okay with RR clobbering his wife until after you all watched it on video."

So LaMichael James was released? Let's take a long look at this guy.

Wow, hugggggggge loss. Colts missed him last night, one of the most underrated pass rushers in the league |

Wow, hugggggggge loss. Colts missed him last night, one of the most underrated pass rushers in the league
Mathis is anything but underrated. He led the league in sacks last year. Definitely a huge loss for them. The chiefs had two players lost for the season as well with Achilles injuries, Derrick Johnson and a DL man whose name escapes me. |

to do what exactly? "three year career ... James ends his time at San Francisco with 41 carries for 184 yards" why do we need a RB that averages 61 yards per season? |
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
We already have Helu and Redd. Thompson on the practice squad. Granted Helu can't block for shit but... Na.. I'll pass.

Can't be. He was, is, should be, the awesomest, mostest, amazingest Speedster any NFL team could wantest. |
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
From Business Insider:
Microsoft's Cortana, the Windows phone virtual assistant that correctly predicted 15 of 16 World Cup knockout stage games, is back for the NFL season. The predictions come from a model by Bing Predicts that takes into account 2013 results, offensive and defensive stats, margin of victory, location, weather, and public sentiment (which is meant to help identify real-time factors such as injuries). Since the model just picks a winner and doesn't predict a score against the spread, the hit rate should be well over 50%. Cortana did well at the World Cup, and even picked Germany over Brazil in the semifinal when other statistical models had Brazil as the heavy favorite. So if you're the gambling sort, it might be wise to take these picks into account. Here are the Bing Predicts odds for Week 1: Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks — Seahawks win (74.2% chance) New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons — Falcons win (61.4% chance) Minnesota Vikings at St. Louis Rams — Rams win (67.4% chance) Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers — Steelers win (70.2% chance) Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles — Eagles win (75.4% chance) Oakland Raiders at New York Jets — Jets win (62.9% chance) Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens — Ravens win (59.8% chance) Buffalo Bills at Chicago Bears — Bears win (64.4% chance) Washington Redskins at Houston Texans — Texans win (51% chance) Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs — Chiefs win (64.4% chance) New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins — Patriots win (61.4% chance) Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Buccaneers win (56.6% chance) San Francisco 49ers at Dallas Cowboys — 49ers win (68.8% chance) Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos — Broncos win (77.8% chance) New York Giants at Detroit Lions — Lions win (61.4%% chance) San Diego Chargers at Arizona Cardinals — Cardinals win (58.2% chance)
8-6 so far |
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Looks like the NFC Least might go 1-3 this weekend. If Jacksonville wasn't Jacksonville it would be 0-4. Thanks for blowing a nice opportunity Skins.

Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Man, it would be great to have a mobile QB like Matthew Stafford. Great step up in the pocket to buy time on that TD pass to Megatron.
|
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Giants look absolutely horrible. I mean awful.
This guy Calvin Johnson could be good |
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
How did he not block that!!

He's always been low key, always putting up good numbers but I don't see him being mentioned with the JJ Watt's of the league. |
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Would be.nice to run a real NFL offense instead of what i saw from us yesterday
|
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
I wish the NFL would review game changing penalties. Should it be roughing the Giants' kicker, when a Giants player pushed the Lions' guy into Weatherford?
|
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
That was a terrible call

Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Eli again!
Side note, did anyone see the romo stat over the weekend? Romo had his 11th 3 int thrown game. Yes I said 11th |
Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Eli has picked up where he left off last year. Second INT of the game.

Re: Around the League: WEEK 1 Baby!
Why change an offense that got you two rings? Why not just improve on it...
