We had how many interviews prior to Gruden? People will come here. We now have a competent GM, even more would be willing to come. Seriously... who is turning down a 2 year 25 mil contract? Since most will be given a 5 year contract and fired after 2.
I gave you the names of two people that did turn us down for d coordinator. Seriously, you really think the skins are a desirable situation now. That odds are good Snyder won't drive McCloughan (back) to drink?

Gutsy call by Gruden. Props to him for that. Hopkins seems to be good at onside kicks. We should have had another one earlier in the year.

Well, if the odds are the Snyder wont drive McC to drink, thats a good thing. And you are talking about Fangio, where is he now? Who is hiring him to be a HC?

None of this changes that Gruden did not have to be begged. Which is your assertion. He took the job the instant it was offered.

3 goal line slants in a row, is that good play calling since we scored?

We have a ballgame! Props to Hopkins for a great onside kick!

None of this changes that Gruden did not have to be begged. Which is your assertion. He took the job the instant it was offered.
we have no idea how long the skins talked to Gruden before he was hired, I doubt it was instant. And reread my posts about Fangio and philips.

Remember when we had to settle for Zorn as HC because after ditching Fassell, no one else would come here? I think we were in that situation after the Shanny circus, which was at least partly Snyder's fault. If Snyder demonstrates patience with Gruden and McC, MAYBE we get someone respectable if we have to replace them.

And I'm not sure how you misinterpreted my post about odds that Snyder wont drive McC to drink.

Yeah wow, a comeback is happening. Course it's the Bucs, but will take any positive team performance.

Breeland just ran up to the ball carrier and stood there watching others run up and tackle, lol.

That is bullshit that Triplett granted the timeout. Should have been delay of game.

Breeland needs to shadow Evans

Gruden was announced as the HC only 4 days after his season with Cincy ended. His interview was only a day or two prior to him being hired. We didnt beg him, stop with such nonsense. How many people were interviewed for the job prior to Gruden? It was a good amount.

Ref missed a block in the back on that TD too. Lucky they caught the PI.

Was wondering if... just if... we went pass on the last two goal line possessions to bump KC's stats by a couple TDs and quiet down the QB talk.

edit: 'we' as in Gruden

sdskinsfan2001 10-25-2015 03:31 PM

Re: Bucs v. Skins Gameday Thread
Yeah but they we had a completion for a first down the next play. Illegal shift and punt. That is not on KC.
Even if we got that. We lost 7-12 yards. Doesn't change that he lost a big play. I was talking about that 1 pass in particular.

Since then, he's done well. Dude is such a wild card from drive to drive.

RG3 should have loved the read option. That is part of the reason why he is where he is now. His injuries had nothing to do with read option. His dad has helped off-track his career.

Skinzman 10-25-2015 03:35 PM

Re: Bucs v. Skins Gameday Thread

Tampa going out of there way to give away this game. How many PF's have they had now? You would think a team that had a 24 point lead wouldnt be taking so many penalties after a play is over.

Absolutely unacceptable to get a delay of game there with 3 timeouts.

Team does bad, with Kirk being part of it, you giving him 0% blame, not all that great either.
