At #8 I would replace Hall with Preston Smith.

WTF....Hall is a fiery guy but hes 32 years old. We need some youth in that spot....

uh yeah lol, building block apparently equals a 31 year old mediocre safety.

howabout kyshoen jarrett, he is just a good all around player.

How about Jamison Crowder?

Hall probably coming into camp, but will have to earn a job. Gruden is apparently a big Hall fan

Lotta big time young free agents this year, interesting to see how it plays out.

Here is a list of Free agents from FanSided...the link starts at #20 to #100 best. There are only a few top 20 FA I think the Redskins should try to sign... maybe a center

who do you want ?

Well Ill mention 2 guys on that list that ive mentioned before, ILB Danny Trevathen and WR Marvin Jones. Both coming off rookie deals, both have flashed and still have that curve trending up wards.

Marvin is a guy who could play that Garcon role and is a bigger and faster target. Trevathen is just a beast who can get out and run with guys.

I don't see the huge contract for either.

I dont think we have the cap space this year to do much even if we wanted too.

RG3 and Kirk will probably just swap cap hits for next year.

I do think they will have to move on from either Garcon or Jackson, just for cap space.

..with a guy that wouldn't even play most of the 2016 season? Our team doesn't have the talent on it to be able to take a flyer on a player like that. We need talent that can play now. If this were the Patriots or some other stacked team, they can afford to do it.

I agree 100%. The future is now for this team. We are a few good pieces away from making a serious run. Cannot afford to take the best opportunity to add one of them and use it on a guy who might not play until the season is virtually over.

To be fair he didn't post any opinion lending credence to the list, he just said from this list who would you want.

But yeah, filters are needed to keep the BS out. Perpetuating internet 'click-bait' rumors is my #1 pet peeve. It turns message boards into sports TMZ. We should be better.
The problem with that online draft is that it presents the user with some unlikely scenarios and he feels compelled to take advantage of them. I really don't see either Robinson or Thomas being there for us in the first two rounds.
True. First Pick gets better with player rankings as the actual draft approaches but even then like with any draftsite, they're just making their best guesses.

Its still fun tho...

What I hope to see is S.M. staying the course doing exactly what he did last offseason. So glad free agency is no longer the three-ring circus is made us out to be in the past. Let some other team serve as the bearded lady of free agency!

does anyone have a better ranked list ? Yes, I saw some of the questionable rankings, however it is a start to see who is available. I have no idea who the best centers, guards, blocking TEs etc. are.

we have a bunch of guys coming up for money soon (kirk and next year j reed specifically), so i figure most of our FA signings will be our own guys.

as far as continued success, it'll be harder next year. both the schedule due to our wins and having romo back. going 9-7 next year would actually mean improvement because of those things. i'll be disappointed if we fall short of that.

Don't really know where to put this news, so I'll put it here. This is very bad news, Mort diagnosed with a Stage 4 throat cancer. It doesn't say so in the article, but survival to the 5 year mark is only in the 25% range.

Good luck to a guy I think everyone in the sports world respects.
