I wonder who signs Norman? He may find out that no one is going to meet his ridiculous salary demands.

I think the teams with a lot of cap space arent going to be a good team. Raiders may be interesting as they are improving and I believe still have a fair amount of cap space. SF has tons of it, but if he wants to go to a winning team, thats not the place to be. So unless he is willing to take a 1 yr deal on the cheap to hit FA next year, he is limited on who can pay him what he is asking. |

Looks like we are legit contenders for him

Re: NFL things and stuff.....
Take this with a grain of salt as it is Jason La Canfora, but he is claiming that the Redskins have a "very legitimate offer" already on the table for Norman. There are also some reports that SF is a front runner also. Wait and see is the only thing to do.

If they gave Malik Jackson a shit ton of money and a average defensive lineman like Vernon a insane contract, surely an all-pro Norman will garner a big contract from teams with huge amounts of salary cap. |
Re: NFL things and stuff.....
If we get Norman tomorrow it caps a terrible week for the Cowboys...they watch the eagles get into position for the top rated prospect on their board a qb, they see their 2nd starting de suspended for the start of the season and they see the skins get the top CB in free agency-a position they covet as well. watching the Cowboys get shit on repeatly is a favorite past time of mine

I wonder if we're doing another one year deal to see scheme fit then he can jump somewhere else next year if he proves it on the field.

Eagles have been informed Sam Bradford wants to be traded and he will not be showing up for their off-season program any longer, per source.

But honestly, when you think about how much money they have tied up in the qb position it's already hilarious. Good luck to the Eagles finding a taker with that contract Bradford has. |

While Roseman has done some good things, its been a complete clown show with the QB position. Remember, arguably their best player, Fletcher Cox (Malcolm Jenkins is outstanding), needs a contract extension...they recklessly spent guarantee money on both Bradford and Daniels. That money could have been used to finish a long term deal with Cox. |

The Eagles should say FUCK YOU, you are going to attend camp because you signed your contract and you are obligated. What else did he think he was? He signed a two year contract for fucks sake. Shouldn't that clue him in that he was a short term answer? Why should them drafting a QB have anything to do with his time in Philly? It's not like they are going to bench Bradford with the kind of price tag he's been given. |

Jets and Broncos and possibly the 49ers could use a starter. This league is always needing talent at the QB position. If I was the Jets, I call them and offer a 5th and tell them to eat some cash. Philly would listen. |

That authority has been recognized by many courts and has been expressly incorporated into every collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and NFLPA for the past 40 years." imo, they cheated, but damn 4 games is much |
Re: NFL things and stuff.....
Someone will pay for Bradford.
Probably the Jets so they can tell Fitzpatrick to feck off. |
Re: NFL things and stuff.....
why are people so interested in pretending that bradford is a good qb?
if he were any good, he wouldn't have to worry about if he's starting at this point in his career. seriously, he's gotten ONE MILLION dollars PER touchdown thrown. overpaid and whiny... my kind of guy. |

Heres to hoping he whines for 2 years in Philly while Philly eats that cap space. Philly would have been better off offering Fitz a contract over Bradford. |

Bradford sucks, he's lucky to have his contract.

What a selfish POS Suh is for not showing up for the Dolphins' voluntary workouts. Yes, I know what the word "voluntary" means but did he think the Dolphins paid him $100MM without wanting him to be a team leader? POS!

Re: NFL things and stuff.....
Matt Slauson was released by the Bears. He seems to be a really solid OL who has played at center and is big enough to fit in our system. Would be a good fit at center?

You hit the nail on the head. Poor Tony Romo just won't make it through another NFL season and without him the Cowboys are toast. I truly feel sorry for Tony Romo, the man, because of the harm he is doing to his health. I would hate to see him break that bone again. |
Re: NFL things and stuff.....
Jerry Jones is an idiot. You simply CAN NOT go into next season without a quality backup. Prescott is way too raw and will need a few years. He should have drafted someone in the second round. The LB from ND may never play again. Terrible pick. That's someone you draft in the later rounds if he's still there.

I still can't get over the Eagles paying Chase Daniel 7 million and he could possibly be their 3rd string QB. That is someone that is trying to get fired.

You got that right! If the Jets don't re-sign Fitz they will suffer for it. I wouldn't take Bradford for free, if I were the Jets GM. |
