Gonna' get on a soapbox for a hot second...

The Cowboys franchise and fans can go fuck themselves.

Get so sick and tired of them being mediocre year in and year out (and that's a GOOD thing. I wish WE had that). It's THEIR time to be shitty for 7-8 years. You luck into an UDFA who potentially could be in the Hall of Fame one day. YOUR turn to be in turmoil for a decade. Every franchise in the NFCE has had their time to shine and their time to be garbage except them. Dez Bryant falls to them? Of COURSE he works out. La'el Collins, free first round pick? Why not?

Fuck that franchise.

For all the bandwagon garbage I deal with in the sports I follow, their fans are the absolute worst. The media coverage just drives me in-fucking-sane. I get it. They're popular. Time for karma to finally bite back for the Hardys, the McLains, the unnamed-piece-of-human-shit they draft or sign because it's all about football for them. Maybe a decade of being awful might change the news cycle a bit.

This rant brought to you by red wine and beer.

Post of the year...it is karma.

But you know what we gotta listen too now? Articles about how great dak presscot is and how is supposedly the next star to rise in Dallas. Check out the garbage already on ESPN, yahoo, etc. So it's a catch 22, romo injury leads to more Cowboys garbage. Content creates content...it's disgusting.

I know you can't base a lot on preseason, but I must say the bears, Giants, and the colts have looked like flaming piles of crap this preseason. Each one of these teams have higher expectations going into this year and also spent a lot of money this offseason. Im hoping the trend of ineptitude continues long into the season.

Bears will be bad regardless because lack of talent. The gmen and colts look horrible on offense, Luck and Eli get hit way too much and it's only PS!

Does Romo try and come back at 37 next year or does he call it a career? And if he calls it a career, is he a HOF QB one day?

That about sums it up.

I would love to see the Gnats smash Dak in the mouth in week 1. Welcome to the NFL, rookie. You might want to pick up those teeth.

Giantone -- can you arrange for that, please? I hope he has such happy feet by the time he sees us, that he's playing pitch and catch with Josh Norman.

Potentially, some very, very bad news for the Vikings:
Bad scene. Bridgewater down in pocket grabbing left knee. Players freaked out, swearing and praying. Immobilized. Practice halted #Vikings
https://twitter.com/murphPPress/status/770697853622714368
Matt Vensel ‏@mattvensel · 10m10 minutes ago
Players spiked helmets and took knees as trainers attended to Teddy. Looked to be a non-contact injury.
Looks like the Vikings are also going to be in the running for a new QB. Anybody know who there back up is?

I just dont see someone trading for him while he has a 19 mil salary for the year. I think in order for a trade to happen, he would have to take a huge paycut. Depending on how low the offer is, he may choose to just be released (I would assmume san fran would release him if he doesnt beat out Gabbert, but really not a guarantee) so he can take the FA tour and pick what he thinks is the best situation for him. Even though this late, it might only be a couple of teams after him.

Oh man. The other day we doing errands as a family. Had to run into Walgreens for the last stop. Saw a ambulance out front, said fawk it i will still roll. Big mistake. I saw this lady on the floor screaming her knee all twisted up and the preimadic was squeezing it back together. I can not shake the image. Lost a night of sleep that night. Just gruesome.

I feel bad for Teddy B., that is a potentially devastating injury and who knows how long it might take to recover. And just like that the Vikings season is wasted. They'll probably be tougher than everyone thinks with that d and running game but they won't make the playoffs with Shaun Hill at qb.

Kap isn't beating out Gabbert - Kap is starting preseason game 4 and Gabbert isn't expected to play. I think the anointed starter is clear.

He was on the verge to break out season too. I hate to see injuries like this and what was shocking is it was non-contact...like he put so much pressure on his knee it imploded. just strange. I just hope he can recover
