QB can audible or get it out quick. You can't blitz every play and not have someone open. Can't just stand back there and wait to get sacked.

At this point one has to wonder if Kirk is really going to be worth the high price tag. Seriously the Skins are almost mirroring the Buckeyes during the last 3 weeks of the NCAA regular season, which should have foretold last night's Fiesta Bowl debacle for them. They(Buckeyes) won, but went down a notch or two in level of play during those last 3 weeks. How can you play like utter crap when the playoffs are on the line and you lose 2 at home? Kirk might be worth the $$, but the FO might be better off spending that $ on building a team first. By the time Scott really gets a team built Kirk probably will be playing out his second contract. Both lines have to be overhauled, along with the LB corp and the DB corp. Norman is just above average at best and is not worth $75 million. This team isn't vey good, but a nice PR campaign by the NFL and the media has done its job in selling the faithful an illusion that we are even half decent.

You can't throw a back shoulder fade when the CB is staring right at the QB and isn't pressed up against his man. That was a stupid pass not even taking into account that Crowder was wide open AGAIN. That just makes it extra stupid.
