Why do I get the feeling that these "how I like my steak" discussions are very similar to how the Kirk Cousins contract negotiations are going in the front office
i understand the general consensus about steak and any type of sauce, but, eat a steak however the fuck you want to eat it.

if you like your steak well done w ketchup, have at it. if you like your steak rare w only salt and pepper, that's swell, too.

if you're looking over your shoulder to see how you should be enjoying your own goddamned food (or anything else for that matter), you lost, bruh.
Nothing wrong with medium, I usually go that route or medium rare depending on my mood.
It depends on the restaurant. Ruth Chris steakhouse in my town is the absolute best when it comes to steak. Whether if it's rare, medium-rare, or medium, the steak is like eating butter - it melts in your mouth.

More "commercialized" chains like Outback or Texas Roadhouse, you gotta order it one step below what you really want, because the steak always seems to be over-cooked.

I cooked steak the other night which came out absolutely perfect! Just a bit of salt & pepper, seered it for a bit on both sides, slapped it in the oven for a couple minutes - almost rivaled Ruth Chris.

Anyone ever try the reverse sear? Did this one time and the steak came out perfect, BUT it took freaking forever. I'm a huge proponent of the wireless thermometer. When it hits 120, put it on the cutting board for 10 minutes and it's a nice medium/medium rare.

If your into smoking meats and you don't use one...your quality control game is flawed.

Grilling I usually don't go through the hassle.

Also like to add on the Steak Game, after my meat has been chosen properly, salted/seasoned to perfection and then perfectly seared....I need it served on a pair of double d tits. Non starter if not.

If you guys are ever in Arlington and want a steak check out Ray's. The steaks are spectacular, along with the mac and cheese/ mashed potatoes. Very reasonably priced as well.

I'll have to remember that! The wife and I are heading up to D.C. in the summer to catch U2 in concert, so we may have to make a special stop at Ray's. You just mentioned three of my most favorite foods of all time! Steak, mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes!

I like my steak medium rare with bernaise sauce on the side. I eat the first half of it without the sauce and the second half of it with the sauce. The idea of dousing a great steak in ketchup and eating it is appalling to me. My wife loves ketchup and even she wouldn't do that.

My ex-wife use to dip her steak in ranch sauce.

I literally just finished an 11 oz medium rare steak at Outback. Great flavor on the sear. Then got a bonus 2 oz of my gfs. Not a bad Friday night meal after long week of work.

Always forget to ask for no cucumbers on my salad. Did it again tonight. Other than having to pick those off, perfect meal.

I like shortribs but they HAVE to be cooked right. If they are not cooked long enough they can end up being all chew.

Does anybody have an opinion on Prime Rib vs Beef Tenderloin? When I was younger, it was all about the Prime Rib. Now, it seems like Beef Tenderloin has become more popular.

Very few things are as comical as watching someone order ranch for their steak in nice place. Best St – Prime Dining at Mahogany Prime Steakhouse

The look on their face is classic. At first they think it's for the salad or baked potatoes, then they realize it's for the steak. The first few times I was embarrassed, then it became fun to watch the body language.

I like prime rib because it's similar in texture to how I like my steaks prepared. Prime rib with a good horse radish is one of my favorite meals.

If Cousins signs for 5 years and 24 million or less, I'll send him an order from Omaha Steaks. Man, I like our off season just fine if we can get this situation wrapped up.

Re: Cousins 3.0, he's going to sign the franchise tag

Back on subject, I would be happy if a deal for Cousins is made, but i really believe in my heart that they are still lowballing him, and that they don't really want him here.

I predicted it at the beginning of the offseason, i felt like the Skins would only offer 19 or 20 million even though it was well below what he made under the franchise tag. And the last known offer that we know of, was 20.5 million.

I feel that Cousins signs with us if they get the offer between 21 and 22 million dollars. Snyder and Allen arent very high on Cousins and there is no way in hell they offer him more than 22 million unless Snyder wakes up and fires Allen and then offers the "new deal" as some kind of peace offering.

For me, there is literally not a better day, unless it also involves both these things and either Redskins or Seminoles winning a football game.

I'm actually grilling within the next hour. I'm spoiled in San Diego in terms of grilling weather. Can't wait for football season. Don't care about the GM situation non sense, we have a good draft and we're competing for a deep playoff run next year.

Httr and Htog (hail to our grills).
