Idk how that wasn't called a cut/chop block, lineman didn't even try to block him, just rolled up on his knee. This was a game full of shit calls, like the Scherff block, the Davis fumble, etc. I know we got gifted a couple too like the end zone holding, the Garcon interference, etc. but they need to be better on both sides.

The refs in general have been so bad this year. The Eagles game on Thurs was down right laughable. And today, what were they looking at on the Schreff play? Is he not allowed to finish off his block? And Davis was clearly down...sigh..

I think it's interesting how we played the Chiefs on MNF when they were widely considered (power rankings) the best team in the league, now we'll play the Eagles who everyone will be talking about as the best team, also on MNF, only weeks later. Very real character check for this team early in the season.

While the refs in general are atrocious, I think the tv replays didnt show the whole Scherff play. I think he dived on top of the defender after the play was over. I dont have a video link of that though.

Yeah thats what i saw as well. Play live on tv, you saw Schreff dive/fall on the guy after he threw him down/finished his block. On replay, they only showed Schreff throwing him down.

I thought the 15 yarder in the first half where they called hitting a defenseless player was kinda bs. I didnt see H2H but Im guessing it was a flag bc refs thought he hit him high (neck/head area). I thought it was shoulder to chest. Hard hits in secondary get flagged regardless of where contact is it seems.

That was one of those plays where Id like the skins to lay up, the ball is gone. Like Swearinger did on SF's final drive. Yes, you got the guy lined up and you want to lay the lumber but the guy already didnt make the catch so by finishing him Mortal Combat style you either get a 15 yarder or injury yourself .. or both. If its to break up a pass, go for it. But if the ball has already sailed into the sideline or hit the ground .. hold up. Save your body for when you need to take that big hit.
