It is quite simple really, they are usually mediocre with one of the smallest TV markets in the NFL. On top of that we really have no bona fide superstars on this team. If this was the WWE, or the old WCW the skins would play the role of the "beat on". The no name rookie that is just used for fodder to give the star wrestlers cheap victories.

CT is a great third down back or just a pass catching back. He sort of is a bigger version of Theo Riddick up here in Detroit. Last season, when the Lions were in dire need of a rushing game, they tried to feed the ball more to Riddick in standard mode only to get him hurt. CT isn't a feature back, that is not what his role is. Our stud rook getting hurt before the season began killed us.
