Kudos to the Redskins for hiring Kyshoen Jarrett as a Defensive Quality Control Coach. He was a coaching intern last season for the team.

This is soooooo Dan Snyder. He had Bugel come in as a "consultant" mid season because I believe Spurrier had shitty protections. How about you hire better people you dumb ass! Seriously there is nothing you can do about Reed, his body can not deal with the NFL game. Colt is brittle. Moses has bad ankles. What do you do about that? Rob Jelly should not be on the team, that's on Gruden. Richardson was a bad signing cause he's 130 lbs. Part of it is stop drafting and bringing in guys that are injury prone. What the hell is a consultant going to do with guys like Reed, Richardson or Kelly?

I have no idea if he will be a good coach but he is smart and a great person.

I like the opportunity for him and hope it works.

I'll be pulling for Jarrett in anything he chooses to do. Hopefully he can be a long time Skins coach tho. That would be an awesome story.

I think there are probably a lot of factors at play, drafting players with a history of injuries is probably just one of many issues. What the Redskins need to do is send a spy to teams that have average better health than most. Are players properly stretched and warmed up before practice? One thing I noticed during games it seemed for every opponent limping off there were 3 Redskins. It is much easier to become injured if a player is out of gas. Are players not rotated out when they need a break? Could there be an issue with conditioning? How about practice, too little contact,or too much? Is the training staff inept, are small injuries turning into big ones due to lack of proper treatment?

I will be curious what is found out as a probable cause. I think it is a little of everything.

The compensatory pick deadline has come and gone. We look to have roughly 4 mil left of viable cap room after rookie signings. Do we make any more moves this offseason? Money Nicholson has his court date on the 14th. Know that a suspension is most likely looming. Do we take a run at Tre Boston and give him a couple year deal or gamble with what we have?

Boston has signed one year deals for 2017 and 2018, offer him another one for 2019.

Since signing Eric Berry to a 6 year, $78M contract with $40M guaranteed in 2017, he played in 3 games for them before being released this year. If Berry is healthy and willing to come in for a workout, I'd at least kick the tires on him. I wouldn't want to sign him for more than one year.

The biggest thing I took away from this article is the fact that the Bucs went from 2005 to 2018 without having any player hit 10+ sacks until JPP had 12.5 last year. And we bitch about Kerrigan not being Von Miller lol.

On brink of 30, Cam Newton vows not to change his playing style

That shoulder is a bigly deal and he hasn’t been very good the last couple years. Cams flashy style and attitude has always rubbed people the wrong, but this year is so pivotal for his career. I def think he shouldn’t run with that shoulder...I’ve doubted Cam in the past, but most time I’ve been proven wrong by him. Going into the season this is gonna be a top storyline if he can get it together. Will Grier pick is a message...

According to Rotoworld, it looks like there's a chance Minn will release or trade Kyle Rudolph. Redskins should look into this, I think he will be a nice pick up if we can trade mid or late round pick for him.

I wouldn't trade for him...but if he is cut he will have a ton of interest. We probably would be out of the bidding do to cap space. The TE I liked Lee Smith signed a 3 years 9 mill deal today w/Buffalo...more in our range.

That's good news.

I still don't feel overly confident with the free safety position but having him to start the season definitely helps.

It's a legit question imo. Young guy in prime condition of his life earns 40 million and decides to get his rocks off raping homeless women and the elderly (excluding the young girl accusations from 2003)? I'd seriously question his mental stability.

Even if that is the excuse he still needs to be locked up, the question is whether prison or involuntary institutionalized.

The other problem with his defense is CTE can only be diagnosed after death.

Either way, I'll second Matty who is also glad we didn't draft him.

Since I moved from Southern California to Virginia 8 years ago I have no problem wishing summer away. It rains more in summer than the other seasons with thunderstorms that sound like bombs going off. On top of that the high humidity even makes temps in the low 80's seem nasty. I won't even mention all the biting insects that thrive in the summer.

I tried to watch Sharks game Monday night (I'm originally from bay area, only home team that is my favorite, by default, because I don't follow hockey), but I just can't get into it. Unless its 3rd period or overtime of game 7, just doesn't do it for me. But I can watch a whole pre season football game if the Skins are on.

I guess you can keep your snow and I will keep the outdoor sauna with bugs. We only get about two feet of snow a year here and that is enough shoveling with my bad back.
