Shanahans/Mcvay groomed cousins, jay just got him in the middle of his rise and halted/stopped it - kirk stopped improving under jay alone, may have even regressed
So Jay gets no credit for 2017 when Kirk put up 4,093 yds, 27 tds and 4 game winning drives?

That was with the highly explosive pass catching group of Crowder, vernon Davis, Ryan Grant, Josh Doctson and about 7 games of Jordan Reed before he IRd for the remainder of the season ... behind an injury decimated O line.

IMO Jay is better than he gets credit for around here. Perhaps if he truly got to pick his own QB, had final say on roster moves (like whether or not to trade for Alex Smith or Case Keenum), go to pick his DC and didnt coach a team that had historically unprecedented injuries for 2016-2018 .. yeah then maybe I could blame him as the reason for our record.

Dead horse now, apologies.

"Jay Gruden is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the head coach for the Washington Redskins since 2014. During this time period, the Redskins compiled a 35-47-1 record."

That's exactly how good he is as a coach.
How many times do we need to see no halftime adjustments, or holding out players in favor of some total garbage favorite that he has? Hes terrible. This team has gone from garbage to pure and utter shit. All on his watch. The only reason that Kirk excelled was because of mcvay. Not jay. Get this clown the fuck out of here. Get rid of the whole lot of them. They are fucking clown shoes.

Tell me again how a coach that is 35-47 is better than he gets credit for. I have some land in texas to sell you when you're done with your explanation, btw.

You want credit for a 7-9 season where the offense was ranked #16 in points and Yards?

Jay is a ham sandwich, nothing more.

In the movie Christmas Vacation, Eddie chooses not to take the sled down the hill because he doesn't want to risk going down the hill "with nothing between the ground and my brains but a piece of government plastic." To which Clark responds, "Do you really think it matters, Eddie?"

So everyone wants to fire Gruden and Manusky...

Ultimately a stupid, meaningless slogan that says nothing about nothing. If your record actually said whst you are. Worst to first the following season, would never happen.

That's funny because you believe all the other magic the nfl throws at you yearly. You believed a QB won a SB having only started 3 games that season/Williams. You believe the worse to first crap. Jay Gruden spoke with reporters after today's practice. All three*Redskins*QBs practiced today.*Case Keenum*was dealing with a foot injury after Monday's game against the*Bears, but his boot was removed and he is slated to start this week. Dwayne Haskins got some reps with the starters today, but remains the backup QB.*Colt McCoy*practiced, but will likely be inactive on Sunday
======================================

Oh, look, they gave Haskins starter reps and Mccoy may be inactive. The drama builds))))
Haskins starts then Penn or even Moses get injured in game?

How do you feel now? Geron Christian blocking his blind side.

How much of a grasp does young Haskins have to handle live disguised blitzs with an O line looking like:

Christian-Flowers-Roullier-Scherff-Moses

Oh yeah .. and we have some of the worst blocking TEs in the league so when we try to give Christian help, Davis or Sprinkle miss or forget to chip the edge rusher.

Haskins is not ready for live bullets yet. He will get in at some point but why rush it? To watch him get his knee blown out scrambling for his life and over extending plays bc he feels pressure to produce?

This season is sunk, lets not damage our 2020 season doing stupid stuff like rushing in our young QB who started 14 games in college.

Let Haskins rep with the ones during the bye week later in the season then let him start.
If they lose to the giants, then we are 0-3 in divisional games. We then, at best, can go 3-3 divisionally. We will not win the division. If we lose to the giants, we are then 0-4 on the season. We would need to be a wildcard...but after 0-4, the chances of attaining a wild card are exponentially low. The only thing surprising will be how much free time we have on sundays. This is one of the worst redskins teams to ever take the field. You can go on with your tinfoil hat, eddie bravo like view...but it's not going to change that we will have the 1st or second pick of the draft.

You've of course noticed the nfl enjoys the parity bull crap where half the teams or more , end up between 9-7 to 7-9.

Cards already have a better record than us. We are 1 of 6 teams that are 0-3. I guess we'll see how it plays out. But in would plan on a top 5 pick. Not what you're saying, some kind of surprise Cinderella story of a team magically getting it together and going to the playoffs...
I dont think it's some wide spread conspiracy... I think it's a team with a shitty owner, who hired a shitty gm, who hired a shitty coach, who hired a shitty dc. To think it's going to turn around now is ridiculous. I can honestly see this team going 0-16, or 2-14 or something like that.

You know what’s comical about this. Dan Snyder should have cleaned house shortly after last season ended. Everyone was expecting it, and everyone was completely floored when not a single change was made.

The same shit show that ended last season has simply started again this season.

You get what you deserve. Fuck you Dan Snyder.

Speaking of twitter here is a back and forth between Bmitch and CT

Well, I played with 4 different head coaches and the backups did get reps. How else do you get them ready? Chris has played for basically Jay. So, I understand his sentiment.
just because you haven’t seen it doesn’t wan it doesn’t happen. It does.

BMITCH

That’s the nature of the game. Especially for QBs. I don’t do goal line but I better be ready. Maybe back when you played that was a thing but coach Shanahan didn’t do it either. Different times.

CT
·

We were prepared all the time. Maybe you all should try it. Coaches today still do it. Whatever works should be tried point blank. You can defend what hasn’t. That’s cool. We won consistently. Can you say the same?

BMITCH

If you dont like the message, attack the messenger.

Grow up B Mitch. I think him hearing "greatest return man in Redskins history" as his radio show intro 12 times a day the past couple of years has gone to his head.

Im pretty sure that CT already has more rushing and receiving yards than B Mitch but continue to run your mouth on the radio like you have all the answers and its all so simple.

I personally dont like listening to him on the radio so Im somewhat jaded.
