Outside of a screen I don’t think we can rely on him to hit on any routes

Run on third and two. Not in a shotgun on 3rd and 1. He started getting pass happy at one point. He did not call a good half.

The issue is we can’t play man against their TEs because our LBs can’t cover.. so blitzing is hard to do

It's a game of chess. You don't have to blitz every down.
Pick and choose when you decide to blitz. Not to mention, be creative when we do so to cause just a brief moment of confusion or hesitation.
