And for a 2nd round pick, it might walk all the way to Cleveland

I find it interesting on a different topic that for most of today, Michael Vick's bio at wikipedia stated that he was a former football player. As of 5:38 EST - the changes have been removed and his bio is now locked.

This comes on the news that i saw on the message boards yesterday that Vick has been quoted as telling friends that he is retired from the NFL....

Just saw next year's schedule. A bit of a mixed bag. Bye week is week 8, which is good. But we end with two road games v. division rivals -- Eagles and 'Boys.

Miami
Rams
@ Giants (after short week)
Eagles
@ Atlanta
@ NYJ
Tampa
BYE
@ NE
NO
@ Carolina
Giants
Dallas
@ Chicago
Bills
@ Philly
@ Dallas

After the injury, whats the possibilty of Hall playing some safety this season? Are Amerson, Breeland, and Culliver sufficient at CB or are we relying on Hall to return to have the cb unit competitive? Im a little concerned with his rehab ability at his age and have read that he may not even be ready for week 1. (Can't find the link on that.)

Hall will be given a chance to compete for the outside cb spot across from cultivar. He will not be playing safety. Hall is a fighter and I expect him to give everything to get back on the field. He doesn't play the nickel corner well, but breeland does...

Greg Hardy of Dallas Cowboys suspended 10 games by NFL

Hardy 10 games. pretty sure cowboys structured contract so that any suspended games pay does not count against cap.

hit to cowboys cap is minimal.
reinforcing the notion that you will sign any scumbag to win a game = check.

10 games for the things he reportedly did is way too little. He's fortunate there wasn't video I guess

i briefly looked for photos of victim on the internet and did not see any. I know the NFL did get to see them.

What happened? it had to be something prolonged and serious.

i strongly condemn the use of the term "trifling bitch" to describe the actions of a victim of abuse. strongest terms possible chico. your better than that.

given the choice of money and putting this behind you vs going through court once again ... it is her choice to make.

she could have very well felt the legal system let her down by allowing for a trial de novo after he was convicted.

a second conviction does not magically undo what was done to her. a second conviction probably wouldnt bring her any closer to closure. it may actually prolong the time she has to actively deal with this vs time to start healing and moving on.

if you agree to any degree, can you edit that out or word it differently? if not no worries.

having taken victim witness statements/deps for domestic abuse victims she does a diservice to those victims by letting this guy roam the streets for a payoff. I gotta lotta problems with that...just as i gotta lotta problems for a magazine those publishes false stories about gang rape for readership.

i hear you, i really really do. ive heard more testimony of sex and DV abuse than I care to remember. i used to be the guy who would screen DV walk ins for ex parte POs. black eyes, bruises etc. friday was always busy.

your word choice, i cant change that. all i can do is ask. we should be focusing on the actions of the perpetrator, not the victim imo.
