Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
The difference really came down to our secondary not able to hold on to the ball. Moore had two chances and didn't convert.
Or maybe Gano's missed FG before halftime. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
I think the Skins played relatively well and had plenty of chances to win the game. I feel pretty good about the game considering 1. no haynesworth 2. no pressure 3. dropped INT's...........6 games in a new offense, new defense. What can we expect?

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Edit: Never mind

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Are we on the road against Bears next week?
|
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Wow, 2 inches from a TD with Galloway and 4-2. I'm disappointed but satisfied with the game.
This season is going to give me a heart attack for sure. There must be some record on having the outcome of each game decided in the last 30 seconds.. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
You gusy are ridiculous. I mean really. Changes all around? When in the past 10 years have we would have been able to keep pace with the Colts?
Yall kill me. the Giants got smoked by this same team. We just played them to the wire. We have players on this team. We can and I think we will win the NFC East. Next up the Bears and thier crappy o line. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Hey... 27-24 vs Colts is all good and dandy...
but 2 big disappointments for me thusfar... Donovan McNabb & Jim Haslett... McNabb just does weird stupid stuff at weird times that can make you want to pull your hair out, is completing 50-some % of his passes and is now in 6 games - 5 TDs, 5 INTs. and Hasletts defense is good for 400 yards allowed to EVERYONE, not just the awesome Colts. At least our defensive guys will be in great shape by the end of the year with how many snaps they play every game. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Sorry, but you're wrong. Just about any other QB would have been sacked about five times tonight.
Remember, we don't have the pieces in place on offense just yet, and our QB is still under almost constant pressure.
I like the guy, but he had at least 3-4 errant throws....especially a few of those deep balls. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Or maybe Gano's missed FG before halftime.
yeah but thier guy missed a 38 yarder. if moore holds on to the first one that hit him right in the hands that stops 7 right there. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
That was a great effort on our team. I am a proud REDSKIN tonight even with this lose. Peyton killed our D for a while but we never gave up and it went down to the wire.
Totally agree. The D could have done better, the offense could have done better, but overall we were a play away from beating the Colts, which would have been an excellent feat. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Well will shanny give us a bunch of bs. He needs to tell the truth that they suck. I'm not mad at the moment but look at this pathect bunch . They deserved to lose and this game may send us down with dallas
Perhaps the dumbest post in this thread, and that's saying a lot in the game day thread |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
I didn't like the 3rd and 1 run to the left. We could've got a yard easy on that play and kept driving.

Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Rogers is our best cover guy. If you want to get rid of someone it should be Hall. He can't cover my mother.
Does it matter? He's going to be an UFA sooner than later, and I just can't see them agreeing to a deal. Turnovers are a way of preventing points, and he just doesn't grab enough of them. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
Even with a secondary that can catch interceptions, the offense still has to be able to do something with it. One of the turnovers led to a FG, the other went nowhere.
Look, offensively we're just not there yet. Don't forget, this team has had a stagnant offense since about 2004. |
Re: Week 6:Redskins vs. Colts Gameday thread
We have just had some very fortunate fumbles and missed field goals this season to give us a chance in every game... execpt the Rams.. lol
Sometimes better to be lucky than good.. lol. We aren't terrible, but we aren't good. |
