speaking of shiny helmets, when did notre dame ditch their classic helmets? they used to have more of a matte finish, i think it looked much better than the current helmets.

I think I read somewhere that the Steelers are wearing their bumble bee uniforms against the Skins this weekend. Since the Skins will probably be wearing White tops on Gold bottoms, it will be weird to see two teams with gold pants on the field at the same time.

Yeah, that would be the only other team out there with gold/yellow pants.
You just don't see it often

I like the gold pants every once in a while but not every week.

i succumb to peer pressure and call our pants gold as opposed to yellow, but if that's gold, then what color are the saints pants? or the 49ers?

They recently scraped some gold off the golden dome tower when they replated (reguilded) it and mixed the flakes in with the paint...made the paint even more metallic than it had been before. They've always used the 24k gold flakes in the paint but they have a new batch of flakes and reexamined the painting process, because they weren't happy with the shade they had over the last few years.

That may be the worst uniform in the history of organized sports (and I'm including Greek wrestling Circa 30 bc).

Lol. Cant get that video out of my head since i saw the uniforms. That pic is so much worse than the cartoon graphic monkey dad showed us. I would literally be embarrassed to put that on.
