Re: Russell to the skins?

If we do this, I'm done. I'll start spending my time concentrating on my actual life and getting a job.
:) That's funny as hell. Thanks for the laugh. |
Re: Russell to the skins?
its true if the bills will pay that much for dock who aint worth it then aa for bly makes sense.

The Broncos would want a lot more than just AA for Dre Bly. We'd have to part with something else, be it draft picks or another player. On a side note that's great news about Wade. And again, we didn't rush to give him a big contract right at the onset of FA, and now we bag him for only $3.5M? I like our patience. Finally. |
Re: Russell to the skins?
:headbange hell yea.hopefully weve learned our lesson.aa and one of our recievers like espy for bly would work.

Probably have to be someone better than Espy. He is on the very fringes of the roster. |
Re: Russell to the skins?
hes better than patten.
|
Re: Russell to the skins?
That's kind of to be determined. Espy hasn't seen the field other than the preseason. Patten has obviously been a complete bust.
|
Re: Russell to the skins?
espy was on the field during last season.

Re: Russell to the skins?
guys guys guys calm down and consider the source. they say whatever they want. they could say the sky is red and grass is pink and people on this site (not naming any names) would be like "is this possible, i think there is a chance this is the real deal"

Re: Russell to the skins?
An unprepared team is a losing team.
Makes sense now to know about possible trade scenarios and players and if Russell is available at #6 someone will trade us for that pick. How much? Probably a decent amount. I might change my tune if the Skins actually sign him, but working him out is really not a big deal... |

thats a plan? |
Re: Russell to the skins?
The only way I could support us drafting Russell is IF he somehow drops all the way down to us at the #6. The guy looks like he's going to be a beast, but we've already given up so much to get Campbell that I would be shocked if we dumped him after half a season of actually playing for another new kid.
Really though, I don't put much stock into this right now.
heres an idea, trade portis to 3rd spot move up above the hated Buc's take calvin johnson, then with our 6 pick, we take adrian peterson, that would be worth it, plus can you imagine the look on grudens face........ priceless |

Why would the Browns trade for Portis when they can get a better, younger, cheaper back in Peterson? The only team dumb enough to fall for a trade like that is us. |
