Oh, one more thing. And maybe this isn't a pet peeve so much, but I'll say it anyway.

Some of you f**kers that secretly visit Warpath then run back to Extremes and think they're better. We'll were better - now! For the record, Warpath is the shit! So take your spineless ass back to Extreme(s).

Okay, I'm done:)
I keep track of those f**kers and I'm compiling a lifetime ban list.

Payback is a real bitch.

When I grew up, the rules in my house (and now, with my kids):
1) No restaurant until we were of an age to not bother other patrons.
2) never, Never, NEVER, embarass parents in publc.
3) None, if you failed on #2, nothing else matters.

When people insist that you must be angry, but you're not...ironically, that really pisses me off

Person A: What's wrong?
Person B: Nothing
A: You seem upset
B: No, I'm fine
A: Why do you seem upset
B: I don't know what you're talking about. I'm fine
A: You're upset. I can tell
B: Really, I'm fine
A: No, no I know. You're upset
B: You die! You die now!

I hate it when someone asks your advice about something to justify a decision they've already made.

People who ask you to help them move. Hire movers damn it. I mean, I didn't call you when I moved, you shouldn't either.

Re: What's your pet peeve?
Haha, I hate this one too. I was out to dinner one night with my wife, and we were congregating around the hostess area waiting to be seated. And this guy standing next to me had one of those things on and he was talking on the phone to somebody, pretty loudly too. And since my wife and I were basically stuck right there while we were waiting for our table, we were basically a captive audience. So I tried to ignore it, but it got to be too much.

I pretended like I didn't know he was on the phone, and I started having the conversation with him. He said to the person on the other end of the line, "So did you go out last night or did you just hang in?"

I said in full voice, "Oh, hey, how's it goin. Well I was going to go out, but I ate chinese for dinner and I was dealing with some gas, so I decided I'd just hang in."

He shot a look and ignored me.

He then said to the person on the other end of the line, "Oh that sucks." Which jived perfectly with what I had said to him. So I said "Yeah, see but I should know better. Chinese food always does that to me, but I still order it. That's kind of what I get."

He gets annoyed, turns to me and says "dude I'm on the phone, I'm not talking to you. I don't want to hear your problems."

So I said "OK good, because nobody here wants to be a part of your phone conversation either. Maybe you should take it outside or hang up."

Then the hostess called me and my wife for our table, and I got to make a dramatic exit.
Brilliant, see Matty this is why we need that reputation system that I have been advocating. Posts like this need to get rewarded.

I am interested to know what your wife thought during the whole thing. Was she embarrassed or lol'ingg.

It's got to be hard to not go to a restaurant for what, 10 years. I remember when I was about 4 years old, I was in a Chinese restaurant with my parents and grandparents on Rockville Pike when I started yelling "baaaaggginnnna." I didn't realize that it's V-agina, but I think the other patrons and my parents got the message.

it looks like some other people already mentioned it...but I hate when people mispronounce words more than once...for instance:

Belk"s"
J.C.Penney"s"
or here in town Brown"s" cafeteria
my grandma's favorite..."fibro-mal-y-sha" instead of "fibromyalgia"

man that stuff ticks me off

She hates confrontation, so she was embarrassed at first. Plus I was talking about having gas, LOL. Then when it was over and we were sitting at the table, then she was laughing.

When I was a kid and watched Seinfeld on Thursday nights, my dad would always come into the room and be like "So whatcha watchin, Steinfeld?"

Drove me nuts.

On a similar note, I hate it when people ask for my help with something and then argue with me over my suggestions.

I also hate it when people "volunteer" me for things that I never said I would do. I can't tell you how many times I've had to help family members move furniture because my parents told them I would without talking to me first.
