I by no means support dressing up dogs. If thats the way I came off i am sorry. I think dressing up dogs is cruel (i let the bandanas groomers put on your dog after they get a haircut slide, as my dog Freckles never seemed to mind).

Im a huge VT fan, and Ive always defended Vick in the past, but if these accusations are true, then Im done with him. Portis was an idiot to stick his nose in here, there is no justifying his comments. Check out this site:

I totally agree with your statement and I also find dog-fighting repulsive, but that alone is not why it is illegal and a felony. Google "[B][I]pit bull mauls child[/I][/B]" and in and amongst the [U][B][COLOR=red]17,100 hits[/COLOR][/B][/U] you will find out why this activity is illegal and why so many communities are moving to ban pits/rotties/dobermans etc.

Portis is my favorite player but this is the stupidest thing ive heard him say. I dont know how he could actually believe what he was saying. I mean he said Vick is a positive role model... No!

Are we still on this??????? He said something stupid out of loyalty for a fellow player. Maybe he doesn't care much for animals, but in the big picture does this really matter. I just think this is a HUGE waste of time!
