Re: What!!!?
Got that right! And once again rather than give a young QB a chance, we will continue with Brunell and go no were significant, so that next season we can all have the same argument again, WE CAN'T LET MARK GO BECAUSE WE HAVE NO EXPERIENCED QB BEHIND CAMPBELL! We should already have an experienced younger QB behind Campbell but we have been married to a washed up, overpaid loser in Brunell, we just had to have Collins as well last season who is absolutly pathetic, which also detracted from a younger talent learning as a backup.
This notion that we are in trouble if we let Brunell go is a joke, the fact is we are in trouble until we let him go! Sooner or later Gibbs has to cut the cord with this guy and realize that there are people on this planet who can play QB besides his beloved Brunell. If Campbell goes down, all of a sudden Brunell is going to lead us to the promised land? He's proven otherwise, I would much rather have an inexperienced QB in there who has the possiblity of becoming a winner, rather than a proven loser like Brunell. Brunell has had more than his fair share of opportunities to lead this team and has been horrible, time to move on!
This is Brunells last year on the team. When he restructured his contract before this season, it was made so it automatically voids after this season. He's probably gonna retire after this year. |
What about John Abraham for MB straight up.
i still believe mark b is a quaLITY baCK UP. IF THEY OFFERED THIS DEAL TO US, WHICH I SERIOUSLY DOUBT, ITS A NO BRAINER AND A WIN- WIN FOR BOTH PARTIES INVOLVED. GET ER DONE....LOL |
Re: What!!!? Brunell to the Falcons?
It probably was but Gibbs is so in love with Brunell that he benched the guy for his man. If he didn't bench Ramsey he would be here now as our starter but instead Gibbs crushed the guys igo and ruined him as a QB.
SAY WHAT U WILL ABOUT GIBBS CRUSHING POOR LITTLE OL' PATRICk RAMSEYS EGO...HE'S A WANNA BE GUNSLINGER .WITH NO MOBILITY,THAT MAKES BAD DECISIONS... id rather have mark any day over wamsey...glad he is no longer here. Although i believe if Steve Sspurrier had protected him just a little he would have progressed more than he has..sorry just tryin to be honest can we all just get along and drop the ramsey stuff finally? whats it been almost 2 yrs now.... |

GTRIPP is that you? I just had a deja vous.
The rap I heard on Ramsey was that he is none too bright. Same as Shuler, who reportedly struggled to learn Norv Turner's system.
None too Bright??? I know he wasnt a good qb but dont say he wasnt bright he had 2 majors dont remember exactly what they were but im sure you have to be in order to do that |
Re: What!!!? Brunell to the Falcons?
Brunell is not done here in Washington. In relief he'll do very well. Falcons will probably field Culpepper if he's healthy or see if Jake Plummer will come to ATL.

Were you trying to say that Gibbs crushed Ramsey's Igloo? |
Re: What!!!? Brunell to the Falcons?
If the Redskins can dump Brunnel's salary and cap hit and get a decent draft pick in return, dump his ass. I do not want to see Dink and Dunk anymore.

To say otherwise is just incorrect. I really think he'd be fine and able to maintain whatever JC started, assuming JC starts something good. The jury is still out. |
Re: What!!!? Brunell to the Falcons?
I haven't heard that about Ramsey either. He was a double major at Tulane and graduated early, so he's pretty book smart at the very least.
He's a killer in the library. But with a pass rush, he completely loses his mind. |

If book smarts make you a smart QB, I'm all set with my THREE degrees. I'll step up and take the backup position so we can stop arguing. :) |

I assume you meant 2 degrees, not majors. To me, a football player in a large NCAA school getting a degree doesn't float with me too well. Sure some are legit, but more often than not these players have communication or kinesiology as a major, and a lot of grades are given to them because of their role as a vital football player and the amount of time that requires. Again, not all do that, but you never know who does. |
