Interesting timing on the release of that "news". Just more negativity from McCain. Yawn.
It was exposed from a paper over seas. Yawn. |

Perhaps the Republicans had nothing to do with the leak. The timing is curious at best. |
Re: obama informercial gameday thread

The sad part is that Obama says that we as a nation have left people behind and now he is going to help them. Then he does that info thing and shows use these families left behind having trouble. Then he touts one of our biggest problems is that brothers are not helping brothers. Now we find out he has let this happen to his own family while he made something like 4 million last year. |

How did he let this happen exactly? Is he responsible for the actions of all of his family members? Is he supposed to financially support everyone in his family? I thought you weren't in favor of socialism? Apparently this Aunt BS is now being included in those brilliant robocalls going out. Pretty tasteless, but nothing new I guess. |

Because of the term limits change? Money talks Seriously though, I just threw Bloomberg's name up there. I do like Crist though. Crist/Snowe 2012!!!! |
Re: obama informercial gameday thread
think he has enough pull in the party to run?
|
Re: obama informercial gameday thread
I don't know. After theis election, either the party will decide it has to be an extreme right party or people like Crist, Romney (pre-campaign), McCain (pre-campaign), Bloomberg, Powell, Snowe, even Lieberman, Smootsmack, FRPLG will take the party back and we'll see Romney/Powell 2012!!!!

No he is not responsible but he thinks we as tax payers are responsible. This is the Aunt he said he loved so much in his book and he does have the financial means to help her. |

What did he say about her in his book exactly? Reports say she is his father's half sister, and I haven't seen anything that says that Obama was particularly close to her. |
Re: obama informercial gameday thread
So what if his aunt is here illegally? There roughly 12 million of them. What is the expectations here? He should take responsibility for her being here illegally? He should or already does support her financial to be here? If you're going after him go after him for his illegal immigration policy in which he is for eventually giving illegal aliens residency (something McCain was for before he was against).
It's unfortunate that so many elements of McCain's campaign have been negative to the point that any and all questionable news related to the Barack the Teflon Don is cast aside as another negative attack.
That's what happens when you cry wolf too many times. It is a shame because coming into this election I'm sure many thought this finally might be an election that focused on the real issues and kept the negative campainging to a minimum. Personally I really have been surprised that McCain has taken the route that he has, whether it was all his choice or not isn't really relevant. It is what it is, and I think it's one of the main factors that is going to cost him the election. |
Re: obama informercial gameday thread
But when McCain's brother calls the police it's ok to ridicule that.

I never said McCain was responsible for his brother's actions as some seem to be saying with Obama and his Aunt, the simple point was his brother was an a-hole for doing what he did. And it would have been news no matter who made that call. |
