1. Him jumping into a truck with a broken arm is just dumb.
2. Henry should not have chased after her after a arguement causing the women to freak out. 3. The girlfriend is actually the victim NOT Henry. Jumping into her car and not knowing why or what he was going to do gives her the right to say self defense. Sean Taylor was not trying to put himself in harm's way, his family was in danger and he got shot. Henry died because of stupidity and his judgment caused his untimely death. I do pray for his family and 3 kids
Exactly. |
Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
It was his truck and we don't know the full circumstances of what happened

Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
Snyder opened up the press conference with a remembrance of Henry.

Classy. I'm sure this really hits home with him considering what we went through with ST not long ago. |

That's great of him to do. Since we know this feeling all too well, I appreciate Danny giving the respect. |

After ST died, a lot of people said it was his fault and that he brought the death on himself. It's BS that some people are quickly assuming blame instead of having respect in a man's death. |

Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
Another life was lost too early, lets respect that and not point fingers about fault.
RIP Chris Henry |
Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
This feels a lot like Sean's death. He was seemingly turning his life around. He was away from the team due to injury. The one difference that Vallin21 points out is that Henry made a horrible decision by jumping into the back of that truck, while Sean died defending his family. Regardless of the circumstances, both deaths were senseless, and my prayers are with the families. RIP CH.

the only know fact is that a father and son who was only 26 has died rip chris
No I wasn't but I actually looked up the story. He jumped into his girlfriend's truck and fell after a domestic dispute. I sure as hell wouldn't chase my wife down after I had a spat with her and I damn sure wouldn't jump onto a freakin truck with a broken arm. In case you didn't notice, the facts are there on every site sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4750615 C'mon man, Look up the freakin story first before you accuse me of shit, then we'll talk. |
Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
RIP Chris Henry
His tombstone should read: If he didn't find trouble, trouble found him |

Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
If it hadn't been for the Sean Taylor situation I probably would have reacted a lot differently to the news. However after seeing people jump to conclusions after the Sean Taylor murder I think it's safe to say that I now know better. Wish I could have learned it a different way though.
Anyway RIP Chris Henry. |
Re: Update: Chris Henry Dies Following Car Accident
Amazing how different the reactions are when S.T. dies and when Chris Henry dies. Both were similar in that they were turning their lives around and both had a bad perception of what they were all about. And both were injured at the time hence why they weren't around the team at the T.O.D.
For me I just want to say R.I.P. Chris Henry. I do believe that he was turning his life around and making the most of his second chance with the Bengals. He was taken too soon. His family and fiancee will miss a was soon to be husband and a father and his teammates will miss a friend and a great player too. |
