Pick 49 - Hudson (C/G) FSU

Grossman starts week one, Dalton has a clipboard, and hopefully doesn't have to replace Grossman this season. Hudson starts day one, and Rabach is cut.

Although, I wouldn't be against getting Little (WR) NC. The more I see of him, the more I see a really top tier WR that is big and can take a hit, a nice commodity. Then we can move Santana to the slot, and be REALLY dangerous.

Talking with Pats about a move up, but they're probably holding out for more than we're willing to offer.

If trade doesn't happen, and I don't think it will, expect them to go for inside line help at 41 (or 49) and use the other pick to move down and add picks.

41: Paea

49: Dalton

Alternatively, if Paea gone at 41:

41: Dalton;

49: J. Jenkins;

If Paea & Dalton gone:
41: T. Smith or R. Cobb (basically best WR the FO has on its board)

49: Jenkins

Essenatially, I think we need to come up with some beef in the middle of the DL. We desparately need someone who will stuff the middle. WR and QB's are a need, but we can make do. The D, however, needs to be retooled.

Don't be surprised if we don't go QB in round 2[/quote]Greg McElroy, Pat Devlin, Scott Tolzien, Tyrod Taylor, Jerrod Johnson. All late round targets that fit the Redskin scheme and could interest us beyond the Stanzi line.

He's listed at 303, which isn't the 320+ you like out of an NT, however he has a high motor, low center of gravity....plus 49 reps in Bench. His scounting reports say he doesn't get moved off the line. The only thing making him drop is the knee.

41 - Trade down
49 - Ellis, NT from Hampton

If 41 could become mid 2nd round add Casey Matthews and with the other pick add a CB and the defense could be top 10 again.

His skill set sounds very much like prototypical NT.

Did the redskins even meet with Paea? I know they went to Jerrell Powe's pro day and they've met with Kenrick Ellis (who we should really go after the most between these guys I mentioned)

Well I tell all you Skins fans this, no matter what I think of Paea, I'd rather take him over Kaepernick, so if drafting him means we don't get Kaepernick I'll be happy.
