They will draft Luck & he will sit behind Manning for 3 years. (Meaning they will prob be 2-14 this year).

probably a lot less though? doesnt he make 17+ million a year. Good QB coaches make no more than 750k a year.

Adam Schefter just TWEETED that Peyton had a cervical fusion procedure done this morning it is a 2-3 month recovery period. They are waiting word if they will place him on IR.

I think Collins can keep them afloat for the season. Afloat meaning not the worst record in the league.

Still, long term he's clearly not the solution. They should place a call to the Panthers and inquire about Clausen.

If Manning did decide to retire, I wonder what the cutoff date is to count what was his last year of eligibility. I'm just wondering if he and Favre could enter the same HOF class

Agree, I think they can win 6-7 with Collins, maybe .500 with some luck. I don't see them as a bottom feeder though. Unless the team just checks out mentally knowing they have no real shot without Manning.

Those are two tough injuries to bounce back from. And Manning is no spring chicken either. He should consider retiring, although he is great to watch.

It is difficult to believe that we've seen the last of Peyton even if it turns out to be true.

If I were a Colts fan I'd be having a very bad day. Heck, it's a dark day just for any fan of football.

The colts have had what? 12-13 STRAIGHT playoff seasons so If I'm a Colts fan I wouldn't be too down and out, shit we can't even make the playoffs. It's still a horrible injury for anyone to come back from.
