I understand, but I would look to draft a FS next year, not this year; The FS/SS draft class this year is mediocre, which is why we've signed Meriweather, Jackson, and Williams all to 1 year deals, thinking we can draft a FS next year. With these signings, I just don't see us drafting a FS in [B]this year's[/B] draft.

Jackson had rotator cuff surgery in January, expected to be OK by June.

However, his health isn't his main concern when it comes to staying on the field.

If he can behave himself, he's a great signing, especially with Raheem Morris coaching him.

Outside of some previously big money receivers there weren't a lot of top tier guys in FA that were likely to come here. We are not only creating competition for starters but for backups too. Our depth has been shit for awhile.. not everyone is signed to start. No more handing out roles.. time to earn them.

This is the best Offseason the Redskins have had in the Dan Snyder Era. Getting so many low priced veteran fillers. Raheem Morris is a great DB coach. Qb of the future. Not signing the injury prone landry to a huge deal. Love it.

Jackson hasn't played well since his 2010 suspension, but I like the risk b/c there is actually reason to believe he can be the player we saw in 2009 (healthy, has played football recently). I've never thought Madieu Williams was a [I]bad[/I] player necessarily, but he clearly has not been a starting caliber football player for two, maybe three seasons now.

maybe not with our 3rd round pick, but i can see us for sure pickup up a safety at some point.
