Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Jo Schobert signed with Denver. I don't think they are planning to sign anyone else
Not sure there are too many LB FAs left out there - not anyone that’s a clear upgrade as far as I know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I hate to be a pessimist but "egregiously hurting" is only one injury away.

It is. Well it might not if Nate Gerry can play and this D can consistently stop the run in 5-2. But those are 2 substantial ifs. We'll see. I said I'll stop bitching about the LB squad. At this point we can't legitimately expect them to do another move, so for now I'll hope they're right. |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Yeah I agree with you guys. The coaches seem to be content with the current LB corp, so be it.

If the ends can do their job against the run, think they will be fine. Quite interested to see what impact the new dline coach makes. Think it could be significant.

Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
Even it’s the first preseason game, Cowboys got a lotta problems. This division is a toss up.

Still like Philly to win the division with their additions. They loaded up on defense along with getting AJ Brown. If Hurts protects the ball, they will be tough to beat.
That list is a joke, does anyone really think that Maxx Crosby or Jeffrey Simmons are 30 places better than Johnathan Allen. There is not one guy in the 50s I would trade straight up for JA
Jaylen Waddle at 63?? LOL Come on |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
I do think the Eagles are the best team in the division. They had a great off-season. If Hurts doesn't play well they can go to Minshew who actually might be the better QB. I didn't realize just how good Minshew's numbers are. Just something to keep an eye on in Philly.

I agree with all this, as much as I hate to say it. I think they're likely to be the best in our division. Dak's OL is terrible and won't create many holes for their RBs or keep him upright long enough. They may struggle, particularly against teams like ours and Philly that have done a much better job of shoring up the trenches. |
Jaylen Waddle at 63?? LOL Come on
I don't think he should be that high, but he is lightning in a bottle. Caught over 1,000 yds as a rookie and his potential is absolutely through the roof. Him and Tyreek will be nearly impossible to defend man on man. Massive season upcoming for Tua.

Agreed. Watched the 1st half of their game. Hurts looked really good. They have a solid Oline. Love Jordan Mailata's story, he learned the game in a few years and became a solid LT. Very solid Defense all around too. |
Re: Around the league 2022 Camp edition
I fuckin hate the eagles so much I hate that they look potentially pretty good... I can't even stomach it given where I reside it is the worst possible outcome every year lmao

Yeah -- South Jersey is rough for anyone who doesn't like the Iggles, for sure. |

Very tough to tackle in the open field. He is a decent thrower not great. But he probably won't have to be really. Just needs to protect the ball which I can guarantee Sirianni is preaching right now. |
