Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
i think best pick for the pats here would be jackson or d williams, but lawson is a young talent that could fix their aging LB corp.
|
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
surprised that jackson and justice are falling like this, lawson is about the 22nd best player, so he's not falling yet.
|
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
Is it just me or is everybody in attendence booing for the hell of it?
|
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
How funny is Herm Edwards being booed?
|
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
Hey Herms one of the cool guys in the league. It seems to me that Jets fans are just as bad as some of the drunk rednecks I run into on a daily basis. Good luck Patrick

he's a cool guy as long as you're not trying to win games in the NFL. |

Tambia Hall seems like a good guy and all but The Chiefs needed a guy like Jackson. I'm just as surprised as you. The Patriots should pick D. Williams if their smart. |

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
MAROONEY OVER WILLIAMS
wow!! |
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
yeah, RB... williams is better, but whatever, he's a 1st rounder too.
|
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
Was the Maroney pick a shot at the Colts for signing Vinatieri? Thoughts anyone?

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
49ers - glaring needs at OLB and DB. I think lawson is the best option, but j joseph or one of those WRs are good options too. justice is possible as well, but its not as big a need.

How did he get past Miami? They have an attrocious O-Line |
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
17/22, but right on positions for 2, and 2 were stretches, 1 (ernie simms) i should have gotten 10/10 times though.
23: justice most likely, possibility of j williams too. WR possible too, but more doubtful. |
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
Hey just me? or is Buffalo trying to go out of business?

their safety situation makes their OL look like the hogs. |
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
best players to put butts in seats:
1. reggie bush 2. vince young 3. vernon davis |
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
How did he get past Miami? They have an attrocious O-Line
Miami's needs aren't at Tackle. They will take an interior Olineman in the 3rd.

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
My personal favorite players in the draft
1. Vernon Davis 2. AJ Hawk 3. Michael Huff |
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
MAN. I never realized Justice had a rap sheet that long
|
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
24 (bengals): - most need at TE or CB depth... DL a concern too, but the talent just isn't there right now (except for gabe watson, who has character concerns, which lewis doesn't want after chris henry's troubles). joseph or youboty (who i don't like) or kelly jennings would be good picks. lewis or pope would be a bit early, but better than stretching for other positions. - d'qwell might go this early too and they could go to a 3-4, but i think that's less likely.

That sucks. The drunk kids and conservative part. I saw your signature was Born and Raised in MD. I got family in Cedartown, another small towm outside of Atlanta. I visit sometimes and like it down there. |

The most Yankee town in Georgia. For my first 2 years I barely heard a hint of a southern accent. Grew up in Silver Spring though for 7 years. People always give me crap for it b/c they say stuff like 'no man your from Georgia or no man your from Chicago.' Oh well, they can say what they want, I still bleed burgundy and gold |
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
25: WR is the biggest need, RB is very possible. QUALITY CB depth or LB depth is a longer shot, but a consideration.
c jackson/d williams davin joseph? wow, that's off the board. best OG, but justice would have been a better pick. |
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
Bengals invest in a Mercedes. LOL BOOMER oh man
|
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
Man I thought Davin Joseph could have fell to us in which case I would loved to have picked him
|
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
i think they'll move davin joseph to RT. athletic guards go too early i guess... max jean gilles i next, then maybe spencer...
|
Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Didn't he play that last year but scouts though he was a better fit at guard? |
