I think Cloman, Russell and Jacobs are up in the air. The reality is every great college player doesn't make it in the NFL. Gibb's want talent and durable players who can play through their injuries. These three haven't played healthy even in preseason.

It's annoying how these announcers keep referring back to Riggins, like that's the only back Gibbs had success with.

Not only did Gibbs win 3 SB's with 3 different QB's, but with 3 different RB's as well.

He also had non-power backs in his stable like Ricky Ervins, Joe Washington and Kelvin Bryant. He knows how to use backs, he doesn't need "The Diesel" to make his offense work.

Gibb's isn't taking any chance on Portis getting hurt in the preseason. Portis has to have the lowest carries for a starting back.

Exactly Matty, Riggins was there for only 4 out of Gibbs' 12 years and his 4th year he pretty much ceded to George Rogers

The Rams needed this game tonight. Knowing how big of an ego Martz has I'm sure he gameplanned a bit more than usual for a preseason game, especially a nationally televised one against the likes of Gibbs. A flea flicker? Need I say more.

That shows you how ignorant most of the announcers are of Gibbs. They just piggieback on what the next station says. 3 bowls, 3 QBs.

I don't think Simon got a chance this week. Last week he was 4 for 42 yards. Not bad. I really think Rock will not be around for the regular season. He's the type that does everything they ask of him, but lacks the power and speed that would make him a dominant haif back. I would cut Cartwright and Betts.
