Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
This is what I hope to see:
He agrees to a trade and return bonus money back to the team as part of the trade agreement. After the trade, a bunch of women that he has banged come out with love children that he has fathered and they sue his ass till he's broke. Nothing would satisfy me more to see this guy go broke like many clueless athletes out there. Karma baby!! |
Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
Well of course and he was when he stole it I mean cashed it. I would have to think his game plan all along is unfolding just as we see it. He's no more than a low down dirty con.

Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
I say we make Haynesworth the highest paid practice squad player in NFL history. Just to screw him like he's screwed us.
At this point, will any team want to trade for him? He's proven he only cares about himself and can't be trusted. Seriously, is there any interest from other teams in his trade demands? |
Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
I think this thread wins the award for most uses of "POS."
Not that AH doesn't deserve it. |

Well one thing is for sure and that is he's not going to give back the money folks. It aint gonna happen.

Under contract law, is it possible that the bonus he accepted from the Redskins could be considered to be unearned if the Redskins could prove that AH had no intention of fulfilling his part of the contract at the time he was offered an out by Shanahan prior to the payment of the bonus? Are there any lawyers here who can answer that question? |

Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
ESPN radio said we had been but the team didn't like the offers. I think more to the point was the team looked into trading him around the draft time period and we were only offered like a 4th round pick and the team was not going to accept such a low offer.
Now with him being anal and the team being in a situation other teams will most likely offer less knowing we might be in a bind with AH. Which is why I'd keep him and fine him each day he doesn't show in attempts to try and recoup some of the money. Have him ride the bench for 2 or 3 games (I think Arrington said that was his worst time sitting there hearing the fans yelling at him in the back ground and not playing), then trade him for anything that the Rams will give for him or some other team that was a bad team last yr. In no uncertain terms would I trade him to a good team or a play off contender. Either he play for the Skins who might turn out to be better then expected or play for a rotten team. Rams Jaguars Browns Detroit Buffalo (this might be good. cold, miserable, but paid). lol.
Oh hell yeah no trade ride pine for 2-3 yrs f that you will play for no one unless we get to 1st rd picks. He'd be so foolish to pull that move. Not that I put it past him, but he would totally crap all over potential future earnings if he tried to rat us out to the league office. No other team would ever trust him. A move like that only drives his earning power down even further. |

I speak for a pretty large percentage of Redskin Nation when I say "I don't want that fat fucker back." He's fat, lazy, self centered, self serving, egotistical asshole that doesn't deserve to play here. His performance last year was absolutely terrible. Snyder paid basically paid a 32 million dollars for a on call player that had to get carted off the field for oxygen every other play. I hope this fat crying bitch does show for training camp so we can fine the hell out of his cup cake eating ass. Then when he does come back I want us to bench him all year. I'm sure after that no team will touch after that. He's career will be completely ruined. |

I have love for London Fletcher he has moved up in my most favorite Redskin list. The man has integrity. Back then the players who acted like this where pretty much benched. I blame Cuba Gooding Jr.(jk) |

I dont know, being a rational athlete you have to realize that the circumstance you are in can change drastically.
Is there anything written in the contract that says that he has the right to void the contract if they switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4? He should have asked for that if he was gonna be such a punk b@#$h. |

If he didn't want to stay he should not have accepted the 21 Million. He already had a substantial amount just from last year's signing bonus and pay, so he could have sought a 2nd payday that was a "reasonable" contract from any number of 4-3 teams. The fact that he took the money even with MS/BA offering him the out, says he's just being an a**. What a shame. |
Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
So here's the deal. If the team allows him to stay, despite what he has done, then nothing has changed.
Shanahan was supposed to be so strict regarding players refusing to listen to him, etc....so if he just lets albert get away with this, then he is as big of a joke as Jim Zorn. Seriously, unless this fat sack of shit is released, then we have to admit that nothing has changed here.... |

I can only imagine what fat albert is doing with that 21 mil down in south beach. I know one thing his fat ass isn't doing and that's working out. And I bet that is one of the reasons he didn't show his fat face cause he's horribly out of shape.

I think what we are seeing, and haven't seen in a long time, is a functional team operating with an irrational player. The coach has basically said I will deal with who shows and is going to give their all to this team. He, or the GM but not the owner, has privately discussed AH's situation with AH and his agent, and with the player still behaving badly, you see a defensive leader given the ok to basically call out the troublemaker and try to let locker room leaders keep control of the media, so that they aren't harassing everyone all the time. I hope AH wakes up, gets his butt in line and plays for the Skins lights out, but overall the way the organization has handled this card that they were dealt seems very promising for the future. |

What a shame.
The way shanny and allen have handled this with pre-emptive tactics has been great. from shanny's comments he said Ah had the opportunity to talk and join any team in the nfl in march before he took the 21 mil in april. he said he said to AH that he got 12 mil for the 1st year and that thye felt that was fair compensation. but if Ah took the 21 mil check then he would show up and play NT DE or FS to teh best of his abilities. my question is this: is shanny saying that in march 1) that they were willing to release AH and let him become a FA if he tore up his contract and thus voided the 21 mil due to him or 2) that AH was free to pursue and elicit any trades for him from another team and then the skins would trade him thus having the new team having to pay the 21 mil or 3) that AH was free to pursue and elicit any trades for him from another team and then the skins would trade and he and the new team would sign a new contract thus eliminating the skins contract and teh 21 mil that went with it. if the skins said we are willing to release you if you void the K, AH really has zero defense. he got paid 12 mil for 1 year of work which was more than fair and reasonable. but if the skisn said yiou are free to see if you can get a reasonable trade offer, then we will accept it gives AH alil itty bitty wiggle room. no team would want to give a 3rd or 4th on top of having to pay him the 21 mil. listening and relistening to shanny's comments, i dont know if he means they would release him or just consider any reasonable offer. (reasonable meaning if the skins have to pay the 21 mil then they get 1st rounders in return or if skins dont have to pay the 21 mil, then just a 3rd or 4th rounder). |

He has no GD wiggle room, he's flat-out wrong and a selfish POS. Bottom line: He had the option to take a check for $ 21M and play f-in football or negotiate the best deal he could with another team and get the F-outta Dodge. His fat ass is trying to get the $ 21M AND get outta Dodge. F this SOB, I wish nothing but ill will on him. I hope the girl he got pregnant and the person he injured while driving recklessly get great lawyers and clean his ass out. Then I hope he blows out a knee and can't play again, after he's been cleaned out financially. Then maybe he can go a get a regular job like the 99.999 % of us who weren't physically blessed to be able to play in the NFL. Then maybe he'll realize how good he had it. |

If the Redskins do not release him, then I don't think that they are allowed, based on the labor agreement, to bar him from their facility. IMO, the best thing for the Redskins is to not allow the situation where the players must be around him. He needs to be gone and forgotten, never to be seen at Redskins Park again. If they need to release him, so be it. That does not mean that the players are still running the show. By now, the other players know in their hearts that Shanahan is running the show. The Haynesworth fiasco is on Vinnie's record, not Shananhan's. All Shanahan would be doing is getting rid of the last vestiges of the old regime. To me, that says that the inmates are no longer running the asylum. IMO, the most likely scenario is that the Redskins will soon put an end to this entire Haynesworth mess and part with him, one way or another. Honestly, as a fan, I don't care how they go about it. I just want him to be gone. Soon. |
Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
KI - if you cut him he gets what he wants, and MS looks doubly the idiot ESPECIALLY if the 3-4 fails to work. You put him on the bench, say we paid you a hefty sum, and now this is what we expect. If the 3-4 doesn't work, you have switch to the 4-3 and everyone "wins" in a bad situation. If the 3-4 does work, after a sufficient cooling off period, you put him in like you were going to, in the 4-3 situations and back up Kemo when he needs rest. If AH just never shows up, you file paperwork to get your money back and make him sit out a year. Just cutting him is IMO, a weak lazy response to getting through this situation.
|
Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
Also, Shanahan "allows" AH back in to the locker room based on AH's contract, and when in he holds him to the same standard he holds every other player. Show up, earn your spot, and you will play, otherwise you ride the bench until your contract expires, or we have gotten our value from you. For AH, that value part means we aint just gonna show him the door for nothing.
|
Re: WP: Haynesworth will skip minicamp, wants trade
But don't you feel like it is a waste to pay him his contract if the guy is not going to practice or participate?? He signs a 100 million contract and we are going to pay him through the duration of it even if the guy doesn't show up???
