Hadn't even realized that the Niners haven't converted a 3rd down.. their D hasn't been very incredible on that down either
Yeah. 0-9 on third down is not a recipe for success. I hope Alex Smith has more 4th q magic left in him.

I wish hoping Harbaugh was gonna get that timeout called. Switch the play to Los in the Wildcat formation for the TD woulda been sweeeeeeeeeet.

If San fran wins it'l be the 11th different NFC team in 11 years to go to the Super Bowl. Wow parity it is.

Please don't name the NFC teams who haven't gone to the SB. :(

Man, itchy trigger finger by the refs. That was a fumble.

I guess that means we're due sometime in the next 5 seasons if the trend continues.

They really needed to run the clock out there to at least go into OT. Now they give Eli 1:30 with full timeouts to get into FG range?...lol

Hey, San Fran was 6-10 last year. With another full draft and free agency, the Skins should be in good shape.

BTW, what makes Blackmon coming out a better prospect than Crabtree when he came out? Look similar to me body-wise.

mooby 01-22-2012 09:59 PM

Boy, Michael Crabtree looks like he doesn't have any desire to be an elite wideout.

Holy shit. Eli had time to go grab a beer and hotdog on that throw to Bradshaw.

Yeah, but they underachieved. A lot of pundits were predicting them to win a weak west in 2010. Still they should be better next year, ...which could be 6-10

They were taking a commercial after every play for about 5 minutes. Was weird. They must be angry because the game is cutting into American Idol. :P
I smell OT
I guess my sense of smell is just THAT good.

Also, Ed Hoculi talks too damn much. I really dislike his style out there. I just started refereeing high school and junior league wrestling this year so I've been paying more attention than usual to all refs when I watch sports just to try to get some better ideas on how to act on the mat.

IF, and big IF, they can draft like they did last year, AND find an answer at QB, the Skins should do a lot better. Not saying they'll host a playoff game, but they could set themselves up for long term success starting in 2013.

He does. But I think it's just so everyone can clearly (somewhat?) know the rules and how everything is going to work. I think from a fan perspective it's nice. From a player/referee perspective, it's probably incredibly annoying.

I like first to 6 as the OT rule.

Alright it's sudden death now. Come on Alex Smith. You've got all the time in the world and all you need is a field goal.
