and by the way ...

I am okay with the fact that the Eagles are stuck with a sh** show for the next five games.

I am also with Graziano in that I think they will miss Reid sooner rather than later and likely long for the day when 8-8 was unacceptable and not a goal.

You know, like us.

I was thinking the same thing. Be careful what you wish for Philly. It doesn't always work out the way you want.

You're right, it's very common actually and the child could even have perfect 20/20 vision with it. Usually corrects itself by puberty.

It's their kid and they love her. Why be ashamed? What, some immature idiots might say something stupid on the internet? He's Matt Schaub, pro QB. He doesn't care. He's living his dream.

On defense of Andy Reid, he has had a tragic year, his son died at the beginning of the season. I'm sure his mind is ****ed up due to that and is not firing on all cylinders, injuries piled up on the OL, etc. I would give him one last pass.

7 straight losses for the Eagles and they are without McCoy and DeSean Jackson now.

I'm loving this. They might finish 3-13.

I can't wait to play them again.

So what was the point of the Schaub family pic being posted here in the first place?

Re: Around the NFL...Week 12 Style

Not sure. I see nothing wrong with the picture but at the same time, no reason to post it.

Were there other players' families done?

Update on the Giants' injuries in Week 12.

They lost Andre Brown with a broken leg, Kenny Phillips with an MCL and possible David Diehl with some minor injury.

They also just promoted Selvish Capers from their PS.
There's a lot of adults with them too. I've noticed more than a few recently, not sure what causes it.
Its a genetic or gradual weakening of the muscle around the eye socket. My daughter has a BAD lazy eye, and is almost completely blind in her right eye. Cover her left eye, and while it looks crazy, the bad eye shifts into correct position in a half second. even with the strongest prescription, she can only sense light in that eye. Has to wear glasses just to protect the good eye from retinal scratches and trauma, or else she might become totally blind if something unfortunate were to happen.

But I don't think its something that the Schaub family should be ashamed of and hide from. I think its great that they did the photo. Nothing wrong with a crossed eyed little cute baby girl.

I almost feel bad for Reid, likely getting fired for the teams performance this year. The Eagles have been riddled with injuries all year. Last night they were playing without SEVEN starters on their offense (4 O-lineman, Vick, McCoy, Jackson). Granted, injuries shouldnt be an excuse, but the Eagles have been KILLED by them this year. Its probably time for both sides to "part ways" anyways though.

agree. Also the loss of his son, while at Eagle camp, right at the start of the season...the pain of that alone must be unbearable. Its hard for me to rip the guy, everything just snowballed. I want to see him land on his feet...far away from this division too, too good of a coach.

All we have to do is try to cover Maclin now. :D

That Brown kid really showed up last night though. We're tough against the run though, so he doesn't worry me. McCoy will likely be back by the time we play them again anyway.

This team was doomed on the field regardless of Reid's tragedy though.

i dont know, certainly didnt help. I expected to Eagles and Fans to rally around the team...I never really saw that. They acted like they couldnt wait to crush him especially after last season.

I know one thing, that defense got no heart and no character to be paid like that and then play like that on the field. It was NEVER Juan Castillo fault.

While i would like Reid coaching elsewhere for the same reason, i'm scared of who will replace him in Philly. Seems like a perfect situation for Gruden, and I dont know if i want to play one of his teams twice a year every year. He's never had talent before like he'd have in Philly. It could be scary.

Yeah, I'm worried Gruden or Cowher will land in Philly or Dallas.

Gotta feeling Andy goes to San Diego. Gruden not coming to Philly. Philly is about to go through some serious roster cutting moves and looks like they might be hurtin for a little while, especially with those QB, Secondary, and Oline issues.

I don't see Gruden in Philly

Yeah Holmgren said he missed coaching. Wouldnt want to see him in Dallas for sure. I think it could be 50/50, Garretts gonna have to finish strong.

Greg Roman

I heard something about Andy Reid wanting to coach in Dallas. I could be wrong about that.

The Eagles are a hot mess. Personally I have felt that all 3 division rivals are on the downward spiral, although the Giants keep fooling me. I see Dallas firing Garrett and getting rid of Romo and I see the Eagles parting ways with Reid. I think Reid's sons death didn't help the situation. I believe there were just a bunch of bad decisions made by the team/Reid over the last few yrs that have put them in the situation they are in now. Injuries? I sit back and think of the Redskins and want to start the list of names that a radio announcer jokingly said they probably could field another team with just the players that have been put on IR this year, so I don't buy the injury issue with the Eagles.

I like Reid and think he will get another chance as long as he "reboots" and starts over somewhere else and don't bring his current coaching staff along with him. Complete start over. Start with the basics, and get back to the plays that made him a great coach and stop trying to come up with some trick play or tweek off of those great plays he had.

Now who goes where?

Eagles- Gruden (perfect for him to start fresh and put his stamp on a team)
Cowboys- Holmgren (or so I believe. JJ and Holmgren had a nice meeting I bet)
Chargers- ?
KC- ?

Norv? lol. I could see him getting picked up by someone as their OC. He's awesome in that position even though he sucks as a HC.

Eagles- Gruden = Please no. I don't wanna face Gruden twice a year. Also I think Chucky is enjoying the fat check he is getting right now with 0 stress.

Cowboys- Holmgren = Eeek! I also would hate to face him twice a year.

Chargers & KC - Could be a good spot for Reid to plop down and rebuild both could use it.

Holmgren in Dallas really doesn't bother me. Maybe they have some brief limited success but I just don't see him and Jerry working it out for more than a couple years.
On top of that, Holmgren only had great success in GB and then only for 4 years. His time in Seattle was pretty mediocre but for the one SB season.

GMen are not in a downward spiral. They have won 2 superbowls in the past 4 years, and are atop of the division, with a clutch ass qb. They are one of the two best teams in the NFC and maybe league. They turn it on when it counts, and their DLine is the best in the league, bar none. Funny thing is, when their season is on the line, their horrid secondary actually performs fairly well too. They are right now the class of the NFCE, while we are still trying to catch up. With one more year in the system, and with the way RG3 is playing, a couple smart acquisitions (upgrades to current OLine and CB's/S's), we should be right in the thick of the chase next year. Maybe even this year. But I don't think we are the better team right now though.

Vick is owed alot of money. Babin must have been a locker room problem cus he had a pretty good game last nite
