Worse defense....ever.

85% of the time, an X-ray can rule out a Lisfranc injury. Expect Cousins in a boot, swelling, & MRI if there is suspicion. No need to panic. Retweeted by Chris Russell |
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
How come we still have yet to see Thompson and Jamison? Why am I still watching Keiland Williams? You got your chance 3 years ago Keiland, give it to our new young talent, not Keiland Williams, Mike.

Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Im rooting for pat I can't take bad Rex
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Anyone else think we should keep pat white to simulate the Eagle offense?
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Thats on the running back
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
fumble injury. bleh.
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
I wanted to see Thompson. I did 2 plays and he's already hurt. Next up, Jamison.

Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
I still don't know what to think of Rambo. One play he's still taking a bad angle to Jonathan Dwyer, the next play he's forcing a fumble.
And I think that we just got our yearly Kerrigan Pick 6. Don't expect to see him do that again until next year. On a serious note, is it just me or is this game boring compared to most other preseason games?
At least he is not getting beat deep. He is still adjusting to NFL speed, but he did show problems tackling running backs in college (specifically Bama) but the Redskins haven't been beaten deep yet, so that is a plus. Only problem with that is teams usually do not show off their best plays till the regular season and teams do not go deep that often. Preseason is starting to get to the point where we just want the regular season. |

My thoughts as well. I was so pumped to see a kid in our backfield with burners. Your injury woes still an issue Thompson? Bring in Rutgers boy. Jamison. |

My somewhat educated guess is they're trying to limit Jamison's preseason touches like they did with Royster back in 2011 bc they want to be able to stash him on the practice squad. I mean I expect JJ will play some this preseason but not much |
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
So no one here has mentioned that Cofield has a fractured hand..according to Chris Russell

Ouch damn |
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
He shouldn't miss any time. Probably sit out the rest of the preseason. Good cast and he can play right away. Question will be his effectiveness I suppose
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
John Keim @john_keim 7m
.@docwalker reported Barry Cofield fractured his left hand. Cofield a huge key to D; tough to run 3-4 w/out good NT. Was playing very well |
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Yea im sure they'll give him a club to play with.
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Cofield, updated..
Zac Boyer @ZacBoyer 1m More reliable: RT @MarkMaske Redskins say Barry Cofield's injury is to his right hand and X-ray results are not known yet. |
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Jordan Reed not looking good out there. Blown route in the Rexy pick and just dropped an easy catch.
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
go us.
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Nvm the QB situation none of them will look good if you arent catching the ball!!!!
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
so, injuries kinda hit us hard this game, which is sad :/
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
I like this crawford.
Said the same exact thing about Phillip Thomas at first
I was thinking the same thing. |
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Dawson has some moves.
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
The fight for 3rd string is real lol
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Jamison has very good feet. Very Alfmo esque. Good footwork.
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Damn, you could've driven a truck through that gap.

Honestly if we get to a point where we need Rex or white for any length of time we are screwed. Neither guy is very good... |
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
So lets see. Just from one preseason game we've lost to injury tonight:
- Cousins - Cofield - DHall - Aldrick Robinson -EDIT Hankerson (when did he get hurt? He hurt his knee supposedly) Thats a loss in my book no matter what the preseason score is. I hate the preseason. |
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Pat White vs Grossman next Saturday....Helu is SOOOOO on this team damn I'd hate to be the linebacker or defensive secondary member that has to take on a Big ass islander running at me full speed or that speed tank alfred morris.....
Jesus...this is a triple threat run game. |

If any team is down to their 3rd or 4th string QB they are screwed. |

Its his first NFL game. He's still learning. You can tell he has talent. He just needs to be in the film room more and coached up some more as well. I keep noticing that Brandon Jenkins only goes north when he rushes the passer. Another one dimensional redskin pass rusher. Ross Ventrone on Pittsburgh looks just like Polamalu with the long hair. And when did Hankerson get hurt?! |

he looks way better than when he was drafted. |

Jamison getting a few carries.
|
Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
