I have no doubt that with the right grooming Griffin could be one of the best QBs in the league.

Those same people would be crying bloody murder if we hadn't made the trade to draft him. They would be remembering last year and all the potential they saw in RG3 and they would be making more negative noise then they are now. If he would have had a difficult 2nd year on whatever other team drafted him, they would attribute it to being on a bad team, or normal sophomore struggles, or missing an all-important offseason, or some other legitimate reason. But no, since he's on our team, he's immediately a bust and not worth the price. I agree with 30gut. With good coaching and more experience, he will be an elite quarterback. |

Is putting Cousins in going to make our special teams better, or our defense? IF so.. Than i'm all for it.
Teams don't even kick the ball out of the endzone now because they KNOW we can't run it back past the 20. |

To be a straight up bust at RG's talent level, laziness and lack of character has to be part of the equation. There's nothing about RG that indicates either. He needs pass protection, another downfield target or two and pro level coaching on the sidelines. Snyder and BA need to get their butts in gear tho. Time's a wastin |

He's making plays with Defensive linemen in his face and his receivers have no "separation". Blaming poor play on pass protection and receivers not getting open is a joke. |

He's not a franchise QB right now, but this thread seems to lean towards people thinking he can get there. That's showing patience, in my opinion. He has a lot to prove, but he also has years to prove it. |

Since the smoke is beginning to clear in RG3 media mutilation, I declare that ultimately RG3 has won this battle.

By year 4, there should be a clearer picture as to whether or not the he has future HOF potential. |

Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
Pre-injury, unequivocally yes. Post injury hard to say, I don't think he has the speed that he had last year, and it is obvious that he cannot just blow past defenders running anymore. If the lose of speed is temporary then he is probably the most dynamic player in football, just like his rookie season. I think he has the talent and potential to be one of the best Redskins QBs of all time, but it is still early. Hopefully, the Shananingans crew has not permanently ruined his leg/knee/speed and he can get back to where he was physically. Ultimately he'll have to improve as a 'pocket passer' to be 'The Guy'.

He's only missed 2 games, one was this one and one was when he had the quad injury against Oakland. I think he plays through injuries pretty well. I think he shows up on the injury list often, but usually they seem to be ones he can play through. Reminds me of Gronk; always questionable, but always ends up playing. Plus its a concussion, the NFL won't let you play through that if you don't pass the tests for liability reasons. |

If only we had Seattle's Receivers. Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, whoever their Tight End is... all first ballot hall of famers. No fair that Russell Wilson has so much to work with. The sick WR talent makes all his passes look like they're thrown accurately and on time. It's almost as if he can anticipate what the Defense is going to do before the ball is snapped. Amazing what superior weapons can do for a young QB. |

Well Luckily for Wilson his offensive line can actually pass block. And even when Wilson has a bad day and his offensive only puts up 14 points the Seahawks find a way to win. Maybe its because they actually have a defense. Imagine a day when the Redskins can win a game only scoring 14 points. Irrelevant though because I actually think Wilson is the best young QB in the league. Foles is catching up though. |

Wilson and Luck are both up looking like the best young QB's. |

Right now foles is playing better than luck. He has more touchdown passes and less interceptions. Luck has been pretty bad the past couple of games and the colts have been getting blown out besides yesterday's game against the titans in which luck looked like an average QB, which is better than what he looked like previously. Right now foles is playing at a higher level than luck. |
