Went to work this morning with a smile on my face that my coworkers say won't leave my face! After 31 years I now have four weeks left to retirement and to add to that my wife who will still be employed for another five years informed me that our health insurance will be 375$ less than what I had estimated.Plans are to take six to seven months off try to get healthy again and then find a job to help keep me from going crazy.
Congratulations Giantone. Enjoy!
Having one month left to work sounds a little less real than unicorns to me. Lol.

Re: The Good News Thread

Even though my current problems are weighing me down, it's not all bad news for me. This week I will be leaving my current job at the dealership I've worked at for almost 5 years to take a similar position for the county. Better pay, better hours, way better benefits. Had a great Father's Day with my dad today and tomorrow celebrate 28 years of existence on this beautiful planet. Next week celebrate with my first of many 2 day weekends, a perk I haven't enjoyed in 3 years. Speaking of which happy Father's Day everyone!

Exactly. I was going to go with the getting into a cold pool a little bit at a time as not to shock your brain, but Chico's p*ssy analogy works too.

Let me guess, you guys are on a flat trajectory at work, perhaps even stuck in a go nowhere job, and your wives look used up and generally disappointed in their lives?

Actually I am on the verge of closing the biggest sales deal of my life tomorrow at the McGuire/Dix joint military base and my wife is smoking hot(you can friend me on Facebook- all her pictures are on there so you wont be so lonely on those drunken nights of yours), AND I am higher than you. [emoji106][emoji41]
Oh and today is our anniversary so I got some this morning and Ill get some tonight. You know Id say rite now is a pretty good time to be me, and I hope you are happy too (the psychedelics generally make you want other people to be happy too - even Schneeds)!
That reminds me aren't Schneeds the ones who ruin everything in Seuss's books?

Not "a" sales deal - "thee" sales deal.
But it figures you would gravitate towards the deal and not the smoking hot wife as another mans greatest accomplishment. You might need three handfuls.

Cant get the link to play on my phone, but it appears to be a very heavy lady getting tossed around in the ocean? That is certainly not my wife as she is not only smoking hot, but grew up on the ocean and is much more graceful wading in the sea than that mess. Now that could be my mother in law?

The Good News Thread

In all fairness I think Chico referenced a 12 year old experience, and most of the comments were tongue in cheek psychedelic giraffe meme jokes - no need to get all Ronald Reagan in here. The world has bigger issues than mushrooms.

Edit : plus Schneeds tying together drugs with poor people who have ugly wives is way off base. Lol. Too many rich and famous riding the pharmaceutical highway and having cocaine with their cheerios. Im just trying to be fair to the broke dude with a trainwreck for a wife. Its not fair to single him out for getting high...
