I'm just the opposite, I love the Richardson signing. I think injuries in these type receivers (ala DJax) are just a part of the position, but especially if they are there for the playoff time, stretching the field can be critical for the rest of the team's success.
Agree. A legitimate deep threat is very important to the success of our offense. |
Richardson was asked about throwing his body around during an August 1 scrimmage when perhaps it would be better to stay healthy and save it for the regular season. “How can you do it in a game if you’ve never done it before? So I trust myself,” he said. “That’s why we have a training room, that’s why we have treatment, our bodies have to be able to withstand that.”
|

I was amazed recently when people on social media were all up in arms over Doctson banging up his shoulder with comments like "why are guys diving and going all out in practice?". Really? Because it's football and you have to practice the way you play. |
Re: Training Camp 2018
lol . . . live right now . . . Gruden said that Docston did NOT have his heel drained and laughed saying he's never heard of someone having a heel drained . . . said he would have to talk to brian mitchell about his poor reporting . . . and laughed again.

Mitchell also says, Vernon Davis now runs a 4.3 or 4.4 ? maybe a 30....Davis has lost a lot of speed since College. Brian Mitchell is sometimes delusional. |

Has anyone seen how Settle is doing? I think he will be the key to the D-line. As injuries happen, i do not want to have to rely on Phil Taylor. |

You know he walked to practice up hill both ways in the snow. |

I'm glad an erroneous BMitch report is the biggest controversy!!

I’ve heard he’s been better than expected. Really solid...picks up coaching quick. A rookie I’ve heard who has struggled is the tackle Christian. First week..no biggie |

He said since Alexander had superior athleticism, he might get more consideration. Stroman, is probably gone if he doesn't pick it up. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

People who don't understand why teams go so hard during practice and training camp are people who have never played football, or any sport for that matter, at any level. My secondary school football coach always said play "hard and show us what you got in practice. How you play in practice is how hard you'll play in a game. If your half assing it now what do you think you will do when it really counts?" |
Re: Training Camp 2018
IMHO Darrius will win Rookie of the Year. And really like the kid so far.

:laughing2 seriously...he will make the team and continue to 1. always slip and fall through the hole with daylight in front of him, leaving 25+ yards 2. drop passes 3. Running into the back of an olineman instead of cutting it into daylight Fat rob is good, but I don't want to keep a guy when vision and leaving yards on the field seems to be a problem. These are issues that losing weight wont help |

Re: Training Camp 2018
Agreed. Fat Rob just ain't that good period. I'm hoping the combo of Guice/Thompson puts him out of work and leaves Perine as the spare.

All reports are saying Kelley is having a good camp, so if he earns a spot so be it.

He has shown some flashes, not hating on the guy, but we all know what early training camp reports are worth. |

That's fine and dandy, if he looks like a changed man so be it. But if he looks like same old Fat Rob, we've already kicked the tires. |

We've also seen what Perine can do and not do. I'm fine with whoever does better in camp/preseason, and right now it seems to be Kelley. |

I almost do not even give a shit anymore. There is a black cloud hanging over our franchise that has something to do with a curse, and the curse has something to do with either Snyder or our name. I am leaning towards Snyder since we used to be really effing good with the same name. Lol.
