Thank you defense...And thanks god for Peterson.

Alex Smith...we gotten taken on that trade folks. Looks like I was right again

Isn’t it tiring? Don’t these mfs want to win a game without it going to the last minute? I feel like Gruden is happy to just win even if it’s by the skin of his teeth. This is the most happily mediocre franchise I’ve ever seen.

Him and Gruden have to figure out how to get it going in 2nd half. Only 6 points. Not gonna work over a full season.

Seriously, I don't want to be so jaded, but this team makes it impossible not to be. That should've been an easy win. Up 17, at home.

Keenum? Bradford? Fact is Smith doesnt lose many games by his play.

And losing fuller hasnt really seemed to hurt our secondary, and we ended up getting our 3rd round pick back.

I am still happy with the trade. Doctson caught some balls Quick and Harris also made some plays.

Bottomline a win is a win.

Today we played an offense and QB that is worse than ours. That is not saying much. Hopefully Smith and Gruden improve.

Well the defense gave us short field and Alex converted. But his arm doesn’t look right...last week samething.

Jay offense has taken a step back the longer he’s been here. It’s not very good.

If we didn’t sign Peterson, we would be 0-5 guaranteed

Smith will manage the game. He’s the least of my worries. Im not sure if it’s the coaching or the play calling or the players but I can’t remember the last time we had a lead going into half and securely held onto it without getting absolutely demolished in the second half.

Bottomline, Alex smith isn’t very good. And we got at least 2 more years and a cap hit the a year after.

We need CT back pronto, dude was missed today.

those last downs they gave more looks at pressuring qb, got Cam out of rhythm

Bottomline, our season is still alive. We needed that real bad. And now also off the schneid against that douchebag QB.

I agree, Smith has too much winning on his rap sheet to worry about. He's 3-2 this year. Thats a playoff winning %.

The 3rd round pick was recouped and Moreau/Dunbar have proven as capable Breeland/Fuller. And AS will grow into the offense. 3-2 losing to NO on moday night and a better than expected Colts and 1st in the NFC East. I will take that from the QB.

Panthers was top 3 offense in NFL before this game

Overall coming off a short week and playing a good team, this was a really really good win.

I expected a 24-13 kind of loss. Turnovers was the big difference. We can't count in that nice gift. Beating a solid team on a short week was unexpected to me. Of course, let's see if we can beat a below average team after a win

The trade was not worth it. From what I've seen from Smith, if Colt were in there we'd have more production from that position. Give Colt a low starter salary, bring in a vet and roll with that. Instead we're stuck with his salary for what.. two more years? Sorry but there is no way anyone can sit here and say that Smith is better than Colt in this offense. No way.

You take it for now....we apparently don’t think about the future much.

I accept only that we fucked up the cousins situation because we did to a t.

You better hope AP keeps running the ball like he has

Not sure where we'd be w/out AP.

We'll agree to disagree. Smith does nothing for me as a NFL QB. He's fine when there's a running game, the d is holding things down and we're ahead. He can play that game. But against the more explosive offenses we literally have zero chance of winning the game.

Smith can't anticipate wr's breaking open, nor can he throw deep out patters. He can throw to guys that are wide open and inside the hashes. He's easy to defend, just pack middle of the field and make him throw outside the numbers. After 5 games I can see why Andy Reid and Harbaugh wanted someone else.
