I just cant wrap my head around crypto .. the concept.

You need like 100 high powered computers to "mine" some really complicated math equation ... and that somehow = $$$$

Ive sat through dinners where a crypto guy explained it to me. Ive read articles .. I wanted to know how this works .. and Ive given up.

Im a drive 1 hour in traffic to work, sit at computer for 8-9 hours, drive home 1 hour through traffic type of guy.

Montgomery County schools were closed on Monday. Like a day care center at work yesterday. People all the way up in Wheaton lost power.

I used to live near there and there a small landing strip "airport" there and accidents happen every now and then. Like a private small plane landing strip/airport so I imagine you have dentists and doctors playing their cesna on the weekends.

I read they didnt have enough kids to officially play. The asst coach used the jersey of a girl who decided to play on her travel squad team instead of her HS team.

So it was pretend to be a teenager so they could play or forefeit.

The family of the girl complaining seems odd, what harm came to you? so someone else used your daughters jersey .. youre daughter chose her travel team over her HS team.

In college, my lacrosse team struggled to have enough guys to play games. Several games I had to run into freshmen dorms and headlock a few guys who never played before. Lots of games w 0 subs. Brutal.

My daughters soccer, half the games become scrimmaged bc teams dont have enough players.

its a big issue in youth sports right now where the ckub teams become more important then their HS team, happens with my son.

he had to play against Landon in hockey with only 8 skaters; his team got crushed and he was injured all because half his team choose their club team that night over their HS team

youth sports in general, man i could go on for days, only a few years left i keep saying

Except for football the scouts go to club games not high school game. My daughter went through the same crap playing soccer. She played both only time there was a problem was when both of her teams made the State playoffs.
Her club playing could get her a scholarship but she did want to play with her friends at school also. The AD who was all so the Head Football Coach tried to be an ass but I went over his head and got it ok'd.

At least in the Charleston area, Uber is way better than Lyft for passengers.

Just looked up prices for same destination:

Uber: $14.30

Lyft: $26.00

And the gap was wider before this post.

On my previous phone, when I signed up for Uber, the Lfyt app wouldn't work on it. So I never had Lyft until yesterday. Unless today is an aberration, I'll have the app but never actually use the service.
