Re: NFL Draft

Although they paid a lot, it was either him or no one sweat is high impact pro bowl potential player. Our defense is set. We also have a starting qb. One hell of a good night! 2 very high impact players!!!

We got 2 top 10 talents at 15 and later.

Don't get to say this often, but Snyder and Bruce and all the front office did a fan mother fucking tactic job.

I am fucking amped!!!!

Re: NFL Draft

QB and edge are the most important positions in today’s NFL.
I don’t know if these guys will work out but addressed the two biggest needs for the team.

Re: NFL Draft

Skins have done well high in the draft the last 3-years or so. They need some credit for tonight. Well done!

Ruhskins 04-25-2019 11:23 PM

Re: NFL Draft

@evansilva
Credit where it's due: #Redskins have put together an immensely talented defensive front seven:

LE: Matt Ioannidis
RE: Jonathan Allen
NT: Daron Payne
ROLB: Montez Sweat
LOLB: Ryan Kerrigan
ILB: Mason Foster
ILB: Reuben Foster

Just get online, wr, lbs in draft then pick up tre Boston...done

I was meh on Haskins, but I LOVE the Sweat pick

skinsfan69 04-25-2019 11:24 PM

Re: NFL Draft

So basically they gave up next years 2nd and swapped this years 2nd to move up back in the first. IDK, if he turns out to be a great player well worth it. We're doing to good job so far I think.

Re: NFL Draft

What an aggressive last minute grab for the last high impact edge player! Wonderfully played! Congratulations Skins fans everywhere!! Hell, we were gonna be happy with him at 15 with no qb!

Please validate, I thought it was we gave up this year's and next year's 2nd for the first to select sweat

Re: NFL Draft

You know Jon Gruden is pissed. His little brother just cock blocked him to grab the player he undoubtably was about to draft.

Correct. We gave up the 2019 and 2020 2nd round picks to move up to the bottom of the 1st round.

We still have two 3rd round picks.

skinsnut 04-25-2019 11:34 PM

Re: NFL Draft

Skins no longer have a 2nd this year or next. This is the price for sweat

Still looking at the tail end of wrs in the mid 3rd...perhaps guard thereafter. Need some serious luck from now on

There are some good WRs that will be available for us in the 3rd round. I think there will be good options in the 5th round.

Ruhskins 04-25-2019 11:53 PM

Re: NFL Draft

I love how sports talking heads think the Pats are going to draft a first round QB. Like Tom Brady has given them permission to do so.

Re: NFL Draft

So let me get this straight....Pass on Darnold and draft a RB. Trade pass rusher and elite WR...and draft a QB who may sit for 3 years at the 6 pick in the draft?

How is any of this good?

My brother-in-law and his son (my nephew) who are Giants fans were fuming last night. I honestly think the Redskins baited the Giants into taking Jones at #6.

Re: NFL Draft

I think the Skins will trade up into RD2 to grab a stud WR. They know they have to get Haskins some weapons.
