For every big signing they've done, there have probably been dozens of Andrew Norwell type cheap signings because Dan didn't want to spend a lot of money.

I don't see another name change happening. A new owner is going to have bigger fish to fry, mainly a new stadium. Rebranding once isn't ideal let alone twice within a short time frame.

I think there might be a chance if it was the Rales/Harris guys that buy it, maybe they were Redskins fans at some point and hate the new name like the rest of us and think it may help to reignite the fan base changing the name. I doubt it too, but I sure hope it happens.

Trying to get the younger generation to buy in doesn't happen with constant change. The people on this site? We aren't going anywhere. We will still click on highlights, news , box scores just to come here and talk to each other even if we don't watch regularly anymore.

As I look around the NFL I don't see anybody I'd consider a 'great owner' insofar as their ability to help their teams win. Teams that win are doing it because they've got a great QB, great coach, great talent evaluators, etc.

You don't need a great owner you just need one that's not going to screw it up. Bezos, Harris, Antipasta either one sounds wonderful because they're not Dan.

Bezos could come in with a last minute bid if he thinks it's worth it to outbid the current highest bidder(s). I don't see Dan turning down the most $$. Guess the question is whether or not Bezos is interested in doing that.
