It is odd but it still feels good to see the feathers again. If we became the Warriors the feathers wouldn't seem odd at all, just nice and comfortable. If it's OK to be the Chiefs, then it should be OK to be the Warriors.

Im not saying im not happy to see the feathers. Like KI said it is great to see em. It just looks like a jumbled mess attached to the commanders name. It should say , in parentheses, (we are still not sure what we are doing about our name and logo), underneath. Lol.

I absolutely agree if there can be chiefs, or warriors, or braves that we can do something with feathers. It wont be Redskin ever again because that is clearly different than any other name, but sure use the feathers and go Warriors. Anything is better than commanders. Dropping feathers on Commanders is putting lipstick on a pig. Its odd. Thats all.

It would be an even better mood if our second round steal of the draft didn’t have a foot surgery coming up for the other foot. Wonder if that is what caused him to drop a little? Meaning the original foot but maybe the other foot having issues was known? I have no idea about the injury or if it is the type of thing that lingers? When will he be ready to go?

For the team to really move forward the management group needs to truly address it, either by saying the name is commanders period end, or by announcing a transition is coming soon.

Comanche's would be nice but one issue is the traditional logo was a member of the Blackfeet tribe.

just do Washington football team, Washington FC, Washington football and use it all interchangeably. W helmets look pretty good, so keep those, rest of it looks too college and should go (including the black)... if you want to stick feathers or whatever on merch, go for it (it's all a quiet protest, and I'm for it).

One of the complaints about the perjorative name "Redskins" was that the name was remindful of the portrayal of Native Americans as warlike savages. So that's a no-go.

Also, what do the Commanches have to do with the D.C. area? Aren't they a western tribe? There was a tribe called the Nacotchtank that had a settlement on the east bank of the Anacostia River at the time D.C. became the nation's capital but that name doesn't sound very elegant to my ears.

I like the W helmets in the burgundy color. The W is nice. We should keep that. The feathers as a quiet protest is about as subtle as an eviction notice.
