Cayman Island Commanders. Good excuse to go to the Caribbean. Also, that name sounds way better than Washinton Commanders. |

Nobody talking about the roast of Tom Brady? For shame.
I don't have Netflix but I saw the highlights - Nikki Glaser and Tony Hinchcliffe killed it. Best joke I saw: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bNyFsbM8M24 |

As in the past the Tax breaks will go to the Owners of the Team and the Stadium, not the players. Again none of this is new and has been going on for decades. |

NY Giants will be doing a New Version of Hard knocks this season.
https://nypost.com/2024/05/15/sports/giants-chosen-for-a-different-kind-of-hard-knocks/ Giants chosen for a different kind of ‘Hard Knocks’ The Giants for the first time will be featured on “Hard Knocks,” HBO’s groundbreaking inside look at NFL teams. But it is not the typical “Hard Knocks” deal. This will be a new version of the show, an offseason look at the Giants, chronicling their offseason starting in January and ending in July — well in advance of training camp this summer. So, no cameras on players as they get released and no entertaining audio of players or coaches during training camp practices. |

Until the league has a financial reason to not shop games around they’ll continue to do so. |

D.Jax and Shady McCoy absolutely roasting Chip Kelly in this podcast haha. I'm not even a podcast guy but I listened to the entire thing. Unfortunately they got it right with Doug Pederson but honestly it's kinda amazing seeing NFL players talk unfiltered about their former head coach. We need someone to do a podcast about Jay Gruden.
Also this was a highlight of that podcast - D.Jax calls up Jason Peters and asks him his opinion of Chip Kelly. |

plenty of people have talked about gruden, and he's talked a bunch too. He was an average coach that did and average job while snyder was being snyder. And he cut the RB that was dating the same girl he was.

I mean we've heard tidbits, and I know we've all heard the story about Kapri? Bibbs. But I'm talking like a hands-on deep dive perspective from a former player about why Gruden lost the locker room or why he and leadership were shitty talent evaluators. That podcast episode was a deeeep dive. Was anybody talking about how Chip Kelly had issues relating to black players before this? |

Gruden couldn't find the right defense coordinator, which cost him the job IMO. He had the offense running smoothly but his defense couldn't stop anyone. |

chip kelly had issuing relating to a lot of players, that had leaked out before. as far as JG - synder was more involved than anyone wanted him to be. RGIII couldn't read a defense and got benched (2014). as far as losing the locker room, he was here too long and didn't win enough (35-44 heading into season 6, went 0-5 and was fired). I don't think you're going to get super crazy stories out of a tell-all, just insight about mediocre people doing mediocre things. I could always be wrong though. |

However, Aiyuk is only 26, great numbers, great blocker and is close with Jayden. I'd at least make a call. Dotson must produce this year.

Definitely should have a look. But I continue to believe AP has a 2-year plan, and this move feels like jumping the gun on year 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Around the NFL - FA tampering/start
I don't see AP making this type of move neither
He's a great player. His contract will eat a ton of cap and we'll have to trade valuable draft assets which I think Peters wants to avoid. I'm not ready to give up on Dotson, but he needs a really good season to make a career here.

Re: Around the NFL - FA tampering/start
why give up things in a non-SB season for a player that could be signed in the offseason (if we even need a $30m/y WR). I'd be much more willing if he could play Left Tackle.

Think we are still living in the Snyder era sometimes with impulsive and reckless moves. It's going to take awhile to get used to Peter's logic and discipline.
