2015, President Barack Obama awarded Tom Homan the Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Service.
This award is the U.S.'s highest civil service honor for senior career leaders. At that time, Homan was the Executive Associate Director for Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

What does this have to do with what's going on today with ICE? This is the best argument you can come up with for all the beatings and killings at the hands of ICE?

Beatings and killings…those would be the directed violence at federal officers who are heroes from democrats.

Ask yourself, why did Biden let in all these illegals? Once you give me a straight answer then we can talk.

The best argument about that picture of Obama…what happened to the Democratic Party? They used to stand for at least American citizens…but now they put illegal aliens ahead of working class folks. You know who competes for jobs and rent in the working class? Shame on you
U ok with giving free healthcare for illegals too? They are doing it in 4 states

Pathetic. You are pathetic to at least address the photo…why was it ok for Obama to deport millions? Answer it or fuck off bitch

Democrats always violent.

Democrats let in 15 million illegals into the country instead of enforcing established federal law. Why?

Direct action — impeding federal law enforcement officers in the course of their duty, helping illegal aliens to escape from law enforcement, assaulting an officer — these are all crimes, and every one of these crimes becomes much more severe if you’re armed while you’re doing it.

The reason democrats care is they want to import voters. It’s the why. And now that we are rightfully throwing them out they mad.

Democrats have no plan for the country but destroy it. Policies are all failures..Obama care health care failure, socialism bullshit that’s failed everywhere and everytime, tax and spend that’s lead to record inflation and with ngo fraud across this country. Social justice never was about anything but scamming institution to line activists pockets, never actually producing anything tangible or any positive outcomes. It’s a joke

Yes, individuals present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, were armed with a variety of weapons, including firearms, according to court records, testimonies, and law enforcement reports. While some claims have suggested otherwise, multiple, evidence-based sources confirm the presence of weapons in the crowd.
Weapons Found and Used on January 6, 2021:
Firearms: Federal court records show that numerous individuals brought guns to the Capitol area, and at least 180 defendants were charged with entering a restricted area with a dangerous or deadly weapon, a category that includes firearms. Some individuals were arrested with loaded handguns in their possession.
Improvised Weapons: Rioters used various items as weapons against law enforcement, including metal flagpoles, batons, stun guns, baseball bats, and hockey sticks.
Chemical Sprays: "Bear spray" and other pepper spray agents were used against police officers.
Other Objects: Rioters used fire extinguishers, wooden stakes, and other items to assault police.
Explosives: Pipe bombs were discovered near the Republican National Committee (RNC) and Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters.
Evidence of Armed Individuals:
Court Records: The Justice Department has confirmed that many participants in the January 6th attack were armed with weapons.
Testimony: Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified that she heard President Trump say, "I don't care that they have weapons. They're not here to hurt me," referring to people in the crowd.
Arrests: Several individuals were arrested with weapons, including guns and ammunition, in the vicinity of the Capitol.
While some individuals have claimed that no weapons were found, the evidence from investigations, criminal charges, and testimony paints a different picture, showing that numerous individuals brought and used weapons during the attack.

violence - wrong
peaceful obstruction - ok
riots - wrong
attacking officers - depends if an innocent life is being attacked by masked law enforcement

There is appropriate civilian disobedience response to excessive police violence. filming is never unjustified and should NEVER be considered justification for excessive force.

Our whole society is founded on government derives it's authority from the people, when government attacks the people en masse (which is what ICE is doing) the people have both a right and responsibility to stand against it.

Man arrested in the attack on Ilhan Omar has a criminal history and made pro-Trump posts

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The man who squirted an unknown substance on Democratic U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar at a town hall in Minneapolis has a criminal history and has made online posts supportive of President Donald Trump.

Anthony Kazmierczak, 55, was convicted of felony auto theft in 1989, has been arrested multiple times for driving under the influence, and has had numerous traffic citations, Minnesota court records show. There are also indications he has had significant financial problems, including two bankruptcy filings.

Police say Kazmierczak used a syringe to squirt liquid on Omar during Tuesday's event after she called for the abolishment of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the firing or impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem following the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Officers immediately tackled and arrested Kazmierczak, who was jailed on a preliminary third-degree assault charge, police spokesperson Trevor Folke said.

Photos of the syringe, which fell when he was tackled, showed what appeared to be a light-brown liquid inside. Authorities haven’t yet publicly identified the substance.

In social media posts, Kazmierczak described himself as a former network engineer who lives in Minneapolis. Among other things, he made comments critical of former President Joe Biden and referred to Democrats as “angry and liars.”

“Trump wants the US is stronger and more prosperous,” Kazmierczak wrote. “Stop other countries from stealing from us. Bring back the fear that enemies back away from and gain respect that If anyone threatens ourselves or friends we will (expletive) them up.”

In another post, Kazmierczak asked, “When will descendants of slaves pay restitution to Union soldiers families for freeing them/dying for them, and not sending them back to Africa?”

Following the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in September, Kazmierczak for a time changed his profile picture on Facebook to an AP photo of Trump embracing the widow, Erika Kirk.

ICE arrests of immigrants with no criminal convictions are way up

In the first nine months of the Trump administration, a jump in the number of immigration-related street arrests led to an increase in the number of deportations initiated inside the U.S. —and away from the border — by more than four and a half times, according to a new report.

Researchers from the University of California Berkeley found that Immigration and Customs Enforcement transfers of people from criminal custody to ICE custody as well as street arrests — people who were not in jail at the time — quadrupled over that period.

Much of that steep increase was attributable to street arrests rising by more than a factor of 11 — according to the analysis by the Deportation Data Project at UC Berkeley, a group of academics and lawyers that collect, post and analyze government immigration enforcement data.

Even though the overall number of people under ICE custody increased, the people they arrested in this nine-month period were less likely to have criminal convictions. This resulted in a sevenfold increase in arrests of people with no convictions, according to the report.

Action that physically block, hinder, or impede law enforcement or emergency services are not protected as "peaceful protest" and are considered illegal obstruction.

Protest the legal removal of illegal aliens all day and film…we seen exactly this across the country, it’s Fine. But trying to convince yourself that these paid rioters are victims just isn’t it. Nowhere else we see this but Minnesota as others communities are working together to remove illegal aliens along with the federal government.

Why do you or anyone support illegal aliens criminals to freely roam furthering presenting a danger to community? We know the cases, the names…weekly stories. I don’t understand

If Biden would have enforced existing border laws and not let streams of illegals in we wouldn’t be here. Policy matter and we have seen quick results within a year. Crimes, drug deaths, all down.

Is Open Borders a valid policy anyone supports? We have a generous immigration policy, why is doing it the right way unacceptable?

It’s kind of pathetic

We are blessed to live in America. I love this country. We aren't perfect. But we live in a great country and I'd never want to live anywhere else. And its not great because of any politician. Politicians and media turn us against each other. Our country is great because of us citizens. But the more the technology, the easier it is for the power-brokers to get us all to hate each other. I am as guilty of those angry thoughts as much as anyone. Hopefully one day, I won't let them influence my emotions so much.

Long story short, we might disagree, but I love this site and everyone here.

Are all law breakers handcuffed and sent to detention camps are their families deported. All of this without "Due Process"? You run a stop sign what happens I mean you broke the law, you drop a gum wrapper you broke the law, right? Many of the ones being taken have been good tax paying citizens here for years with jobs. So tell me their crime , wanting a better life for themselves and their families by being a good American citizen and doing what every other "good American does"........they at the least deserve due process.

Due process, particularly procedural due process, refers to the legal requirement that an individual must be given a fair and adequate legal procedure before being deprived of life, liberty, or property.

Supreme Court of the United States plays a crucial role in interpreting and enforcing these principles, tracing their roots back to the Magna Carta of 1215, which established early concepts of lawful judgment. The Fifth Amendment, part of the Bill of Rights, and the Fourteenth Amendment extend these rights to protect individuals against actions by the federal and state governments, respectively.

The Court has determined that procedural due process encompasses key elements such as notice and the opportunity to be heard, ensuring that individuals have a fair chance to contest governmental actions that could affect their rights. It applies across various legal contexts, including criminal and civil proceedings, and addresses issues like the adjudication processes of lower courts and the treatment of individuals in mental health institutions. The Court's decisions emphasize the necessity of a neutral judge and the importance of safeguarding individual rights against arbitrary governmental actions. Through landmark cases, the Supreme Court continues to shape the understanding and application of due process in American law, reflecting a commitment to fairness and justice in legal proceedings.

I believe that due process is for American citizens. Also, if I broke into your home and stayed there, should I get to stay there until I have a court hearing and all of my appeals are completed? Of course not. You would want me removed immediately. Doesn't matter if I vacuumed and washed my plate after I was done eating.

If you come across the border illegally, you should be returned to your home country. Why was Joe Biden allowed to let millions of people flood our country illegally? But then Trump can't return them to their country? Democrat politicians are all for it because it gives them more power. More house seats now when they get counted for in the census and more votes later when democrats get what they are truly after, legal voting rights for all of them. If it was millions of conservatives from Poland crossing our border, democrats would build a wall to the moon as soon as possible and love enforcing border laws. It is a huge power play for rich democrats (and phony republicans) to get richer and to obtain power for themselves. They don't give one flying fuck about you or me.

Also, you can't claim to be for the lower and middle class and also be an open-border globalist.

This is who you are defending Chico.

Edit: The DOJ was very quick to take the file down, however the internet was quicker to save the documents.

In your example: someone breaks into my home.

in your version as a citizen with due process:

my neighbor sees someone breaking into my house. It's me I forgot my keys. I explain this to the officer but my deed is in my safety deposit box. I am given a court date, show up with my deed and the court verifies my documents(due process ) I go home a free and safe person

in your example a citizen with ICE version of due process:
my neighbor sees someone breaking into my house. It's me I forgot my keys. ICE immediately arrests me and sends me to the colorado supermax. i object the whole way saying it's my house, but am not given the opportunity to show the deed,(no due process) and once in Colorado I have no access to my safety deposit box so i can't prove it.

in your example with a non citizen with normal due process
my neighbor reports a breakin at my house. the police arrive and the man claims he has the right to be there but his identity can't be verified. They detain him and he has a fast court date where a judge says he did NOT have the right to be there (due process) and he is sent, appropriately to the maryland jail system.

To lump all immigrants, even those who came illegally, into a bucket of evil is simply wrong. Instead of rounding up people based on ethnicity, ICE and DHS should be focusing on the lawbreakers. And abidng by the laws themselves. But that is not what is happening. And killing US citizens that clearly are not acting in a life threatening method is not acceptable. ever.

We have existing federal laws and an extremely generous immigration policy in place. Doing it the right way is not too much to ask.

Re: Dictator Trump Takeover

It is hard not to see what is happening to the immigrant community and for me not to take it personally. My mother in law met her husband in Bermuda while he was serving in the US Air Force. They were married in 1971 and moved to the United States in 1974 where he began to work for the NSA. She was unable to get citizenship until 1985. For anyone that thinks we have a logical and "generous" immigration system is just not thinking clearly.

If what was happening now happened in 1976 my mother in law would've been deported along with my wife. This is a situation that has happened multiple times since ICE has started their heinous and unconstitutional tactics. Arresting people with no warrants, holding them without lawyers etc etc

We have deported military veterans and American citizens. Many without due process. I keep hearing about criminals and yes we should deport those that have committed certain crimes. However I never hear anyone ever say we should go after the real criminals, the corporations and businesses that knowingly hire undocumented workers to take advantage of them and their labor. The truth is we will go after those with no voice because it is easier than going after Exxon or Amazon.

Your examples are so infrequent and absurd, I can't answer all of these. You're making up random stories to justify your position.

We need to make legal immigration way faster than this!

But we also need to handle illegal immigration way faster too. You can't just walk to the border from any country and say "Asylum" then stay forever. Or have Joe Biden create some bullshit app and say every person that used that app gets to stay here forever. The most recent story is the dad that ditched his kid, still gets sent back to Minnesota with his kid he ditched to save himself. He came across the border in January 2024 with the Biden App, but somehow in February 2026, he still didn't have his "Asylum" hearing held. 2 fucking years, and he was still here with no hearing.
