The funniest towelie skit was when he was trying to remember a code to get past the security gate and said "wait, I got it" started hitting the numbers while singing funky town. Sooo freakin funny, I laughed for like 5 minutes.
I doubt the 6 pack would make it! ;)

Some day, I'd be proud to split an 18 or 24 pack with you angry...but until that day, the selects will stay in my fridge. :D

I don't know what that means...but it plays for me when I click on it here. Can anyone shed some light on this, or is LB SOL because it's her computer or something?
No, not yet. I am fortunate though that my pastor gives me his entire layout of sermons for the year. I know what he's going to be speaking on weeks in advance so that I can plan ahead. I'm just having a hard time finding stuff that fits with his sermons. There's only so many resources available within the christian arts community to draw from. So my search continues.
What sort of plays are you looking for? Like what's the theme? Are these one-acts?
What sort of plays are you looking for? Like what's the theme? Are these one-acts?
I haven't done any plays. Our church is kinda small so I don't really have the cast for it. My group primarily does short sketches (5-8 min.) and reader's theater pieces. We also do interpretive movement to songs using dowel rods. It's really cool, but kinda hard to explain.

The worship director likes for everything to flow with the theme of the message. The pastor's next series in August is on reducing stress, refocusing your priorities, etc. I only have the titles to the sermons, not the actual context. Once he sends me the outlines, I'll have a better understanding of where he's going. My biggest problem is that I'm picky. There's a lot of bad scripts out there and it takes me awhile to weed through all the crappy ones til I find one I like.

A cylindrical skinny piece of wood. Shorter and skinnier than a broom handle.

what is the point of it / what is it used for?

Re: The Never Ending Thread
what is the point of it / what is it used for?
Many use it for like crafts. Like the bird perch on a bird house. Also it is used for putting things like furniture together. For example you may be joining to pieces of wood to form a drawer together so you will drill two holes in each of the wood and then get a dowl rod and make a pin that will fit in the holes to help keep the wood together...
