This is the stuff that makes me wonder why so many folks don't want to heap any blame on JC. Sure we have glaring inadequacies on both sides of the ball, but JC is also messing up. I don't think JC is progressing any. I don't think he is necessarily regressing, but he hasn't gotten significantly better since he was named the starter. Switching QB's at this point will not help, but if say we don't win another game this season, I think it would be reasonable for some folks to think about it if this crap keeps happening next season.

Our defense is not a dominant D like the Ravens and they will never be able to play a full game b/c they are on the field A LOT thanks to our wonderful offense.

Exactly. We need new draft picks their and some modest FA players on the OL.

We'll probably try to sign one or two FA players for the WR group.

However, I am increasingly concerned that whatever JC has on the offense he'll never be good enough to carry this team to the elite level.

That only changes two games. Our two "3rd place" games this year were New Orleans and Detroit. Won both of those. But I know it is tough when grasping for a silver lining after a game like that.

Harbaugh has a decent offensive line and a top 5 defense, that's the difference.
