Yeah. Let's make sure there are less hosiptals if we can.
Wow. My favorite local hospital took over a golf course and was going to build a huge medical campus but have not broken ground yet. Maybe that's why. |
Re: Obama Care
BOCA RATON, Fla. — Republican backlash over President Barack Obama's health care overhaul had little effect in the nation's first U.S. House race of 2010.
Florida Democratic state Sen. Ted Deutch handily won Tuesday's special election to replace retiring Democratic U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler after his underdog GOP opponent attempted to make the contest a referendum on the massive health care bill.
Not exactly an indication. We don't know how bad the candidates were. Conservative voters aren't going to settle for just anybody, we'll demand quality candidates. We won't forget the lesson from McCain. Besides, remember Massachusetts? :D |

I did a quick google search to find any backing, but came up empty. I have to imagine, with a large block of retired people, and a large block of immigrants and unemployed, there is a disproportionately large block of voters in Fl who favor the healthcare act and would mitigate any backlash a lot more than other parts of the country. I could obviously be wrong. |

McCain is communist, tyrant, and a manchurian candidate. |
Re: Obama Care
," Deutch said to cheering supporters. "Let me tell you something, what we learned today is that in Broward County and Palm Beach County, Florida, the Democratic Party is alive and well."
This is a STATE Sen. seat and those two counties are more than 2 to 1 Dem. so not sure how much this says about an endorsement for Obama. If they lost the seat it would have def. said alot more but we all rember Broward county and the hanging chads. |

Yeah. Let's make sure there are less hosiptals if we can.
Once again you guys need to actually understand what you're reading. This is speaking about physician-owned hospitals only, not other privately owned ones. Whether it's good or bad I'll leave to other people to argue since there's so much back and forth in the healthcare industry. It's an interesting decision as patients have the choice where to go, I'll say that. |

This is about doctors who cater to the rich because they can afford to go out of the system for medical treatments. I guess next they will make it illegal to build yahts, luxury car, and all homes will have to be built 5 miles from any body of water and will have to be less 2000 sq feet. |

Your last three (at least) posts all have the word Communism or Communist in it. It's getting to the point that when you talk, all I hear is: |

Yes, these are doctor-owned -- which apparently have been a target of larger, corporate owned hospitals. Not surprising since corporations often try to influence the powers of government to legislate their competition out of business. The point of this article is simply that another provision has been uncovered which further restricts the free enterprise aspect of the healthcare market. At a time when doctors are fleeing the industry, when overcrowding is becoming more of a problem, I'd love to hear how this portion of the bill helps anything. |
