Hog1 you had 5 channels! We only had 3! LOL :laughing2 My boys think I grew up in stone age. One asked me years ago if I had any Mantle baseball
cards. Told him I did, but they would up between spokes of my bicycle.

dmek, plus we could only order a hamburger or cheeseburger. It was big news when McDonalds introduced the Big Mac.

We had the antenna thing as well.
It was equipped with an electric motor that rotated the antenna to the desired direction of the station to get the best reception. Only problem, in Maryland in the winter, it froze up occasionally. You had to go outside and bang on the shaft to free it up.

PLEASE don't ANYONE post a current pic but, back in the day, WHO did not have "the" poster of................Farrah?????????

i had it. and remember dad hitting the side of the T.V. when it didnt work right. never understood that logic:) you guys use the old roach clip on the prism box, so you could receive H.B.O? and watching all in the family on saturday night? i always thought that was the funniest show, ever

Scrambled porn? That would have been "Super TV" which was broadcast over some UHF channel but it wasn't 20. You needed a decoder box and I think it was on channel 50 before there was the current channel 50.

Oh man! My childhood has finally returned to me! Man...do I miss the late 70's/80's! Ultraman, Schoolhouse Rock, Punky Brewster (yes she is very hot now,) Night Court, etc.....

Kind of reminds me of that time machine thread i posted several months ago. This type of stuff is what I'd like to go back for!
